With Rotary Indicator Patents (Class 33/501.4)
  • Patent number: 11287398
Abstract: The invention relates to an eddy current sensor element for non-destructive testing of a substrate, having an assembly of at least a first and a second flat coil, wherein the first flat coil and the second flat coil each have a triangular shape with a first to third coil edge, wherein one of the edges of the first flat coil and one of the edges of the second flat coil are arranged adjacent and parallel to each other, and wherein the assembly has a quadrangular shape. The invention further relates to an eddy current sensor for the non-destructive testing of a substrate, having a plurality of the eddy current sensor elements.

  • Patent number: 11040422
Abstract: The disclosed device comprises a manually-actuated micro positioning stage that incorporates a mechanism for measurement and electronic output of the stage slider position. A Hall Effect sensor device is used to sense rotary position of the lead screw. based on the lead screw pitch. Processor means converts the Hall Effect sensor measurement of the lead screw rotational displacement into linear displacement of the stage slider for presentation on an electronic display. A magnetically-permeable cap contains a small disc magnet that is poled diametrically and is affixed to the end of the lead screw that is in contact with the stage slider by means of a sensor housing. The Hall Effect sensor contained in a surface mount electronic package is enclosed in a sensor housing that is part of the stage slider that is in contact with the lead screw and is positioned coaxially with the lead screw.

  • Patent number: 10260853
Abstract: A linear gage includes a spindle, a guide cylinder surrounding a portion of the spindle and configured to guide the spindle to move forward and rearward in an axis line direction, and a guide slit portion having a guide slit extending parallel to the axis line of the guide cylinder, with a gap provided between the guide slit and an outer surface of the guide cylinder. An attitude adjustment pin extends into the guide slit and is fixed to a side surface of the spindle. The attitude adjustment pin is an eccentric pin.

Abstract: The device claimed by the invention is characterized essentially in that during the transport of a flat object, in particular, a banknote, through guide elements the deflection of one or two second guide elements from a first guide element is detected via an electrically conductive element by one or more flat air core coils. In the process a magnetic alternating field is generated which is influenced by a change of position of the electrically conductive element. The alternating field causes eddy currents in the electrically conductive element. These eddy currents in turn influence the alternating field. When the flat coils are each a part of an LC oscillating circuit, for example, the resonance frequency and the attenuation of this oscillating circuit are influenced. At a constant excitation frequency the amplitude of the oscillations varies.
