Plural Coils Movable With Respect To A Coil Patents (Class 336/126)
  • Patent number: 8988178
Abstract: An inductive coupler assembly for use in a downhole environment and related methods are described. An example indicative coupler assembly includes a first inductive coupler having first and second magnetically coupled coils and a second inductive coupler having third and fourth magnetically coupled coils. The first and third coils are coupled to a first pair of signal lines and the second and fourth coils are coupled to a second pair of signal lines. The first inductive coupler is to magnetically convey a differential communications signal between the first and second pairs of signal lines, and the second inductive coupler is to magnetically convey a common mode power signal between the first and second pairs of signal lines.

  • Patent number: 8487732
Abstract: There are many varieties of windings. Coils adopting an edgewise winding wire in which winding wires are wound around in the radial direction of the coil have a wide flux linkage area orthogonal to the electric wire, so that stray loss within the wire is increased, winding wire loss is increased and temperature is raised thereby. The present invention provides an arrangement in which a plurality of coil units are prepared and connected via external coupling terminals. At this time, winding is performed so that the contact faces of the coil units have equal potentials, so that there is no need to ensure an insulation distance between coils, and the coils can be downsized. Therefore, the mass of the respective coils can be reduced. Taps disposed on the respective coils are arranged to have equal potentials, according to which the external coupling terminals can double as tap switch terminals, so that there is no need to provide a dedicated tap switch.

  • Patent number: 8013709
Abstract: The present invention provides a conductive module used for assembling a magnetic element and an electronic component. The conductive module includes a conductive base, an electronic component and a plurality of conductive units. The electronic component is electrically connected to the conductive base and disposed on one side of the conductive base. The conductive units have respective hollow portions. The conductive units are spaced from each other and fixed on the conductive base such that the hollow portions of the conductive units are aligned with each other to define a channel.

  • Publication number: 20030062979
Abstract: A rotary transformer system (20) comprises a rotatable shaft (28) having at least one and preferably plural electrically conductive slip rings (27) mounted thereon. The slip rings (27) of the phase planes are electrically connected to their respective windings on rotor assembly (22) by the bus conductors (80). The bus conductors (80) extend through respective phase isolated bus ducts (82) formed interiorly in rotatable shaft (28). The bus ducts (82) have a buffer (146) provided therebetween so that the bus ducts (82) are not in physical contact, but are spaced apart and separated. A mouth (160) and annulus (162) of each bus duct (82) extend through a cover plate (164). The cover plate (164) is secured by fasteners (166) through insulated spacers (167) and is held slight aloft above the circumference of rotatable shaft (28), thereby insulating cover plate (164) from rotatable shaft (28). The cover plates (164) of adjacent bus ducts (82) are electrically connected by a flux plate (170).

  • Patent number: 5012236
Abstract: An electromagnetic transmission and detection apparatus comprising a transmission coil (20) for producing a high intensity electromagnetic field including one or more conductive windings (24) circumscribing a substantially polygonal volume of space having a central axis, and first and second receiver coils (22) disposed within the polygonal volume of space for receiving a low-intensity electromagnetic field transmitted from an external source. The receiver coils (22) are co-planar with the transmitter coil (20) and are disposed within the polygonal volume of the transmitter coil at positions which are polygonally, diametrical opposed to one another. The receiver coils (22) are electrically connected to each other in a differential circuit relationship such that the magnitude of electrical signals induced in the receiver coils (22) by uniform electromagnetic energy are substantially equal and opposite to one another.

  • Patent number: 4795094
Abstract: A powder product to be sprayed is conveyed by a stream of gas in a flexible conduit between a storage tank and a spray orifice from which a mixture of the gas and the product is ejected. The mixture is agitated upstream of and in the vicinity of this orifice by oscillating a section of the flexible conduit in the vicinity of this orifice. The powder product sprayer comprises a flexible conduit and a device for circulating a mixture of the product and the gas in this conduit. It further comprises an enclosure surrounding a section of the conduit and a device for oscillating this section of the conduit. The device for oscillating the conduit may comprise a vibrator fixed to this section of the conduit and free to move inside the enclosure. The vibrator may comprise an annular cage surrounding and fixed to this section of the conduit, a ball movable inside the cage and a device for injecting air into the cage in a direction adapted to cause movement of the ball inside the cage.
