    Abstract: An encased transformer that comprises a bobbin including a plastic-molded cylindrical portion and upper and lower collars formed respectively at upper and lower ends of the cylindrical portion, a magnetic element extending centrally through the cylindrical portion, primary and secondary coils wound round the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion, comb-shaped metals terminal formed on the pair of lower collars by insert molding, the comb-shaped portion of each metal terminal being bent at generally right angles, the metal terminals being further bent at right angles and outwardly horizontally at an end portion thereof so that the metal terminal is substantially Z-shaped, a straight portion of the metal terminal positioned midways of the Z-shaped being fixedly held in position between the inner wall of a case and a frame wall having recessed terminal grooves into which are individually fitted metal terminals provided in a plastic square bottom plate.

    Abstract: A high frequency noise suppressor for engagement around a cable comprises a pair of case halves made of nylon or other rugged synthetic material which can be snapped around a cable in clam shell like fashion. A ferrite core half is positioned in each case half for defining a ferrite core member around the cable. Each case half has opposite end walls with semicircular recesses. A plurality of triangular fingers extend into each recess and are positioned at a slight angle outwardly with respect to an interior of each case half. The fingers have truncated apexes for defining a small opening in each recess. If a cable which is larger than the small opening is to be engaged by the suppressor, the fingers bend outwardly on opposite sides of the case for firmly engaging the cable. This resists relative movement between the closed case and the cable in either direction along the cable.

    Abstract: An electric noise absorber for absorbing electric noise on an electronic device, comprising a piece or pieces of ferrite and an openable case composed of a pair of case members for containing the piece or pieces of ferrite, keeps the electric cable in position by means of two pairs of holding members, and also holds the cable loosely at openings formed in both ends of the case members. The electric cable is prevented from being damaged because the cable is not bent sharply in the vicinity of the openings. The piece or pieces of ferrite is or are attached to or detached from the case members easily owing to the elasticity of the holding members. Moreover, the electric noise absorber is installed on the electric cable simply by being placed at an appropriate position and being closed by means of a pair of protrusion and a pair of hooks provided on the two case members, respectively.

    Abstract: A current transformer for outdoor high-voltage installations which is insulated by pressurized gas includes a metallic top housing mounted to a hollow porcelain insulator. The top housing contains a primary conductor which is surrounded by coils of the secondary circuit. The secondary terminal leads are installed in a grounded lead-through tube which is disposed within the hollow porcelain insulator. In order to increase the dielectric strength of the current transformer, the space which is enclosed by the top housing and the porcelain insulator is divided into a high-pressure region and a low-pressure region, the former region including zones which are exposed to high voltages, in particular the interior of the top housing, and which are bounded throughout by metal and a mechanically strong insulating material, such as a casting region.
