Abstract: A dual element electrical fuse includes at least one high overcurrent fusible element and a low overcurrent fusible element connected to one another inside a housing. The low overcurrent fusible element includes a single sided circuit board and a releasable conductive element that more simply provides low overcurrent protection and manufacturing efficiency with improved quality.

Abstract: Electronic systems and methods automatically monitor a presence, absence, and change of circuit protectors at specified locations in an electrical system. Circuit protectors may be automatically detected and correlated with specific circuit protection holders as they are installed and replaced in the electrical system. Determinations may be made regarding whether the installation or replacement is proper or improper for optimal protection of the electrical system.

Abstract: This invention is an insulated shockproof fuse with the main characteristic that it is wrapped by two semicircle shockproofs works to a ladder-like round rod, its two ends are extended outside to a suitable length and bended as 90 degree to make 2 electrically conductive hats hasped inversely at the corner of 90 degree together as a whole to allow the two ends of electrically conductive hats to be embedded in typical cutout case, it will be fused while unusual high voltage passing through and prevent the electricity discharging through the electric ions in the air by the sealed insulated materials at two sides, thereby achieve the manufacturing effect in blocking the momentary passing of high voltage effectively and preventing the electrical appliances from being damaged.
Abstract: A fused switch unit (1) is provided with a housing (2) in which a fuse plug (10) is arranged such that it can pivot to and fro between a switched-off position and a switched-on position. The fuse plug (10) has a grip part (11) and a retaining area (12) for a fuse link (20) and is capable of being pushed into the fused switch unit (1) as far as an operating position. Both the fused switch unit (1) and/or associated components (2, 30) as well as the grip part (11) of the fuse plug (10) each have a through-opening (15, 35). The through-openings (15, 35) are positioned such that they essentially do not overlap when the fuse plug (10) is in its operating position, and such that they are at least partially aligned with one another in order to hold an interlocking element (40) when the fuse plug (10) is in a position in which it is partially withdrawn from its operating position in the fused switch unit (1).
Abstract: The integrated circuit has a circuit with information that is protected by a covering shielding level. A network with a large number of nodes is formed in the shielding level. Some of the nodes are linked to a comparator for a nominal-actual comparison. The comparator checks for a characteristic output current from each node. Errors on the characteristic output current lead to a change in the information which is stored in the circuit, so that the latter is protected against manipulation or analysis.
Abstract: A fuse assembly including a housing and a fuse element which fuses open for protection against overcurrent or short-circuit current flows. The fuse assembly also includes reflecting means such as metal polished surfaces for reflecting radiation rays generated from the fuse element back to the fuse element. The reflecting means may be formed from separate parts interposed between the fuse element and the inner wall of the housing. Alternatively, the reflecting means may be formed by applying a metal plating on a surface of an inner wall of the housing to give a mirror-like appearance to the surface.
Abstract: An improved fuse holder system which incorporates a rejection feature in the fuse holder, as well as its receptacle. The fuse holder and receptacle are arranged to reject standard fuses, as well as rejection type fuses, having a lower interrupt rating as may be used in control circuits of contactors and starters.
