Plural Patents (Class 34/190)
  • Patent number: 6055741
Abstract: The apparatus has a plurality of conveying elements (20) that are connected in series, and have two parallel toothed belts and steel carrier sheets connected thereto. The belts are respectively guided over deflecting wheels (15), where the conveying elements (20) are deflected by about 180.degree.. The products to be drained are continuously and sequentially placed onto the conveying elements (20), with the water that is still clinging to the products being spun off at the deflecting wheels (15). The apparatus can be used to achieve gentle drainage in a continuous process.

  • Patent number: 5637148
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for coating printed circuit boards on both sides are described in which the printed circuit boards are transported through several consecutive processing stations of a coating installation. In a first coating station, one side of the printed circuit boards is wet-coated with preferably UV-hardenable plastics and the printed circuit boards are subjected to vapour-removal and drying in a first vapour-removal and drying station. The printed circuit boards are turned and, in a second coating station, their second side is wet-coated with preferably UV-hardenable plastics and then are subjected to vapour-removal and drying in a second vapour-removal and drying station. The boards are finally transferred from the coating installation to other processing apparatuses for further processing. In the coating operation, the printed circuit boards are transported in opposite directions through the two coating stations which are arranged side by side in two parallel lines of apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5557857
Abstract: An apparatus for the aftertreatment of photopolymerizable printing plates with means for generating an environment with at least one predetermined condition and a transport device to carry the plates during and for transport of the plates through the apparatus. By uncoupling the transport velocity from the prior process steps, such an apparatus enables in-line aftertreatment. The transport device has multiple orbiting pallets on a type of continuous elevator conveyed at least section-wise through the environment.

  • Patent number: 5552262
Abstract: High volume manufacturing process for flexographic printing plates comprises wash out, drying and post-exposure. During drying the printing plates are transported with a plurality of endless conveyors. The transport speed during drying/post-exposure is lower than the transport speed during wash out such that a storage of flexographic plates can be achieved in the drying and post exposure portion of the process.

  • Patent number: 4132012
Abstract: A tower for drying the inner diameter of elongated tubes includes a plurality of endless synchronously driven pintle conveyors having vertically ascending and descending support paths for the tubes and an air manifold system operative to force heated air at controlled velocity through the pipes in one direction during ascent and to force heated air at increased controlled velocity through the pipes in the opposite direction during descent. The endless conveyors are supported by a plurality of spaced tower frames, with the two end tower frames having air ducts of the manifold system connected thereto, one of said end tower frames and the air duct carried thereby being movable relative to the other tower frames to permit tubes of varying lengths to be conveyed and dried.
