    Abstract: A high efficiency triple pass tunnel finisher includes an articulated spraying function for allowing steam to effectively penetrate a garment. The tunnel finisher can be used for the laundering of shirts, pants, and jackets. The tunnel finisher includes hot air chambers and a steam chamber that can include two rows of steam injectors located at a 45° angle in relation to the walls of the module. The steam chamber has a lower pressure than the hot air chambers, creating an air pressure differential. The hot air chambers are positively pressurized, preventing the relatively cooler air of the steam chamber from entering the chamber. The pressurization prevents heat loss, allowing the finisher to be more efficient, while increasing the temperature at which the garments exit the steam chamber. This leads to faster drying times, less garment wrinkling, and reduced dwell time for a garment with a high quality appearance.

    Abstract: A heating oven for use in dynamo-electric machine component manufacture is provided. The oven uses forced air heating to raise the temperature of in-process component subassemblies to suitable process temperatures. The heating oven includes a rotating drum mounted in a cabinet. A number of open-ended tubular cradles are disposed in circular arrays between the drum faces. Batches of component subassemblies may be individually loaded into the cradles for heat treatment. Air flow channels are set up in the oven cabinet to evenly distribute heated air through individual cradles. Heated air after passing over the individual in-process subassemblies, exits the cradles through side slots in the cradle walls into the interior of the drum. The exiting air is reheated and recirculated through the heating oven.

    Abstract: Modern drying units for gypsum plaster board have a feed device, comprising several roller feed units (1) arranged in levels one above the other. The drying section is generally divided into several zones (3 to 7), in particular three longitudinally ventilated zones (4 to 6), being two high temperature zones (4, 5) and a subsequent low temperature zone (6). Due to the high production capacity of the upline production plant and the necessarily long residence time, drying units are very long. According to the invention, black boards (19) are arranged above and below the individual roller feed units (1) in the high temperature zones (4, 5), which extend across the width of the roller feed units (1). The boards (19) are heated exclusively by means of the flowing drying air to an elevated temperature, and transmit additional heat to the through-flowing gypsum plaster board (16) by radiation. It is possible to reduce the length of the drying unit due to the increased heat transfer coefficient.

Further, the photosensitive material is dried by a warm air, which is heated by a heater, blown onto the photosensitive material from nozzles. In the drying, because the warm air is also heated by the heated guide plate, the warm air can be risen to a predetermined temperature efficiently. Accordingly, because transferring the radiating heat and the blowing the warm air are performed at a same position (a same member), the drying can be performed efficiently without enlarging the device.

The finished product has advantageous characteristics with regards to density and abrasion resistance, so that dust production is avoided during subsequent handling.

The aim of the invention is to provide a dryer which ensures even drying of the goods across the entire width, even in the problem areas. The rack dryer is equipped with conductive bodies (20, 26) which are located on the partition wall (5) and which streamline the current in the area of the air intake into the pipe chambers in such a way, that a predominantly even static pressure prevails throughout the entire pipe chamber. The invention can be used for drying sandwich-type plaster board or wood veneer.

Each centrifugal blower chamber has an air inlet in fluid communication with the heating chamber for drawing air from the baking chamber and an air outlet for throwing back heated air at high pressure.
