Publication number: 20100073184Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for sensing the presence and/or misplacement of mechanical sub assemblies (MSAs) within storage slots of automated storage libraries. Each MSA is tracked based on signed empty cell barcode labels. Signed empty cell barcode labels are utilized to uniquely identify the frame, column, and row coordinates of one or more MSAs. The storage library automatically scans all signed empty cell barcode labels utilizing a scanner mounted on a robotic device. The system provides a counter for each MSA, allowing the storage library to track the usage of the MSA. As usage of the MSA reaches a predefined lifecycle, the library automatically generates an alert to replace the MSA. When a MSA is rearranged within the storage library, the library automatically maps the new frame, column, and row coordinates of the MSA.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 24, 2008Publication date: March 25, 2010Applicant: INTERNATIONAL BUISNESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventors: Stefan Lehmann, Shawn M. Publication number: 20100066555Abstract: In one aspect, an alarm mask for condition monitoring in a wind turbine is automatically generated. A reference data selecting definition is selected from a control definition repository in the wind turbine. The reference data selecting definition specifies a time interval of recorded reference data. Reference data is selected from a sensor located in the wind turbine recorded during the time interval. A reference value is calculated based on the reference data. A first and a second alarm mask factor are selected from the control definition repository. A first alarm mask is calculated based on multiplying the first alarm mask factor and the reference value. A second alarm mask is calculated based on multiplying the second alarm mask factor by the reference value.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 16, 2009Publication date: March 18, 2010Inventors: Klaus Gram-Hansen, Axel Juhl, Troels Kildemoes Moeller

Publication number: 20100046818Abstract: In a case where an error is included in measurement data corresponding to one or a plurality of detecting elements in a tomography scanner, a system matrix to be calculated or referenced on image reconstruction calculation is corrected in accordance with the error. Thus, even when an error such as a defect or a fault occurs in a detector, influence of the error is eliminated, thereby reducing an artifact generated in an image. At that time, positional information of the detecting elements including the error and information on the degree of the error are stored in a storage device and referenced inside image reconstruction software, thus making it possible to correct the system matrix in accordance with the error.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 30, 2007Publication date: February 25, 2010Applicant: NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF RADIOLOGICAL SCIENCES.Inventors: Taiga Yamaya, Hideo Murayama, Eiji Yoshida

Patent number: 7664618Abstract: The present invention such as active diagnostic algorithms is developed not only to realize the early detection of degraded vacuum pumps for the protection of pump failure but also to provide their predictive maintenance. According to the present invention, it is possible to find simple and effective ways to deal with technical problems arising from the large variability of the pump-by-pump operation characteristics and the multiple process conditions where pumps run under the idle operation and gas-loaded operation conditions alternately, especially in semiconductor manufacturing process.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2004Date of Patent: February 16, 2010Assignee: Korea Research Institute of Standards and ScienceInventors: Wan Sup Cheung, Jong Yeon Lim, Kwang Hwa Chung, Soo Gab Lee
