  • Patent number: 11145174
Abstract: A method and a target monitoring system (TMS) to generate descriptive parameters of one or more target objects in a region are provided. The TMS dynamically receives first data comprising image data and/or audio data of the target objects in the region and second data comprising circumstantial information related to the first data from one or more sensors positioned in one or more spatial directions in the region over a network. The TMS filters the dynamically received first data and identifies the target objects in the region using image data extracted from the filtered data. The TMS generates descriptive parameters associated with each identified target object in the region using the filtered first data and the circumstantial information.

  • Patent number: 11145068
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an image-processing apparatus includes an output unit, a tracker, a storage controller, a setter, and an output controller. The tracker tracks a target object in one or more time-series images. The storage controller stores tracking information including a movement trajectory of the object in a predetermined storage. The setter sets a detection region for detecting passing through of the object based on the movement trajectory of the object, on the image, in accordance with a user's operation. An evaluator evaluates a setting mode for the detection region based on the tracking information stored in the predetermined storage and the detection region set by the setter. The output controller outputs the tracking information stored in predetermined storage, from the output unit, in an output mode based on an evaluation result of the evaluator.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system that detects unwanted electronic components in a target computing system. During operation, the system obtains target electromagnetic interference (EMI) signals, which were gathered by monitoring EMI signals generated by the target computing system, using an insertable device, wherein when the insertable device is inserted into the target computing system, the insertable device gathers the target EMI signals from the target computing system. Next, the system generates a target EMI fingerprint from the target EMI signals. Finally, the system compares the target EMI fingerprint against a reference EMI fingerprint for the target computing system to determine whether the target computing system contains any unwanted electronic components.

The linguistic semantic monitoring analysis engine receives a file included in a monitoring module, parses the file to identify file language terms included in the file, and matches the file language terms included in the file with the module-specific language terms included in the module-specific language information. Based on the matching of the file programming language terms with the module-specific programming language terms, intent for the file language terms is determined and used to automatically classify the file into a respective one of a plurality of monitoring model databases.

Abstract: An equipment-monitoring system having a resistive sensor designed for two- or four-terminal sensing of damage thereto caused by an environmental exposure. In an example embodiment, the resistive sensor comprises a sense resistor susceptible to the environmental exposure and a reference resistor protected from the environmental exposure, the sense and reference resistors being internally connected to four terminals of the sensor in a manner that enables external bridge-type measurements of the electrical resistance of the sense resistor. In some embodiments, the sense resistor comprises a relatively large number of flat metal stripes connected in parallel to one another between two of the four terminals, which advantageously provides an extended dynamic range of the damage detectable with the corresponding sensor and improves the sensor reliability.

Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein provide a search engine that receives a search request from a sensor gateway, and provides search results in return. In various implementations, the search request includes a first set of measurements captured by a first sensor, a first measurement from the first set of measurements is outside a defined range. In various implementations, the search engine determines a first feature vector based on the first set of measurements, and identifies a second feature vector that indicates a second set of measurements within a degree of similarity to the first set of measurements. In some implementations, the second set of measurements are captured by a second sensor. In various implementations, the search engine determines a search result based on the second feature vector, and transmits the search result. In some implementations, the search result indicates one or more instructions executable by the first sensor.
