Position Indication Transmitted By Local Station To Remote Location Patents (Class 340/993)
  • Patent number: 12008840
Abstract: A method of vehicle movement control includes setting up a weigh station geofence corresponding to a geographic location of a vehicle weigh station and setting up an additional geofence corresponding to the vehicle weigh station. At a central processing system, a first message is received from a mobile wireless device that is being carried in a vehicle. The first message indicates that the vehicle has entered the weigh station geofence, and includes vehicle related information, vehicle location information, and a bypass request. The method further includes determining by the central processing system whether the vehicle is permitted to bypass the vehicle weigh station, and sending to the mobile wireless device a bypass message from the central processing system indicating whether the vehicle is permitted to bypass the vehicle weigh station.

Abstract: A bus stop includes a storage unit, a communicating unit, a display unit, and a control unit. The communicating unit communicates with a server which is in communication with a plurality of buses, a plurality of stops which the buses will pass, and current locations of the buses. The display unit displays at least one route consisting of a plurality of bus stops including the bus stop. The control unit generates a request signal carrying the location of the bus stop to the server. The server determines current locations of the buses on a route which includes the bus stop, compares the real-time locations with the location of the bus stop to select a nearest bus travelling towards the bus stop. The display unit display a mark marking the bus stop. A related system is also provided.

Abstract: The circular antenna array for vehicular direction finding applications is a circular disc having a plurality of microstrip antennas radially spaced around the disc at equal angles. In one embodiment, the circular antenna array includes V-shaped antennas, and in another embodiment, the antennas are Yagi antennas. The circular antenna array can operate under two modes, switched and phased, in the 2.45 GHz band with an operating bandwidth of at least 100 MHz. The circular antenna array is configured to be installed in vehicles. Selective transmittal of an RF signal from a key fob generates a response signal from a specific antenna element receiving the RF signal in line with the direction of origin thereof. An LED panel indicates proximity and direction to the vehicle being located.

Abstract: In some implementations, a mobile device can transmit traffic information to a server for analysis. The traffic information can include movement information including detected stops and durations of detected stops. The traffic information can be analyzed to detect traffic patterns that indicate locations of stop signs and/or stop lights. The traffic information can be analyzed to determine durations of stops at stop signs and/or stop lights. The durations of stops can be associated with a time of day and/or day of the week. In some implementations, navigational routes can be determined based stop sign and/or stop light information, including the delays attributable to detected stop signs and/or stop lights.

Abstract: A bus stop sign capable of providing detailed bus schedules includes a storage unit, a detecting unit, a communicating unit, and a control unit. The storage unit pre-stores a table recording identifications of a plurality of mobile terminals, identifications of a plurality of bus terminals, and stop information of the bus stop sign along bus routes of the bus terminals. If the identifications of the mobile terminals obtained by the detecting unit match one or more identifications recorded in the table, the control unit obtains identifications of bus terminals recorded in the table corresponding to the obtained identifications, and controls the communicating unit to transmit the obtained identifications to the server. The server determines the current location of the nearest bus terminal travelling toward the bus stop sign and feeds back the current location of the nearest bus terminal to the mobile terminal.
