  • Patent number: 11816317
Abstract: A computer system stores information for a plurality of layouts of one or more user interface elements locally. Each layout corresponds to at least one type of display device, and includes one or more objects associated with the one or more user interface elements. Upon receiving a request for rendering a first user interface element on a display device, the computer system identifies a type of the display device and determines a first one of the at least one type of display device accordingly. The computer system then extracts information for a first layout corresponding to the first one of the at least one type of display device (e.g., information for a subset of objects that is stored with the first layout and corresponds to the first user interface element), and renders the subset of objects corresponding to the first user interface element on the display device accordingly.

  • Patent number: 11620968
Abstract: The present teaching relates to method, system, medium, and implementations for LED display. A first signal is received that signals a timing for a next data transfer. In response to the first signal, a bit-based image block stored in a memory is transferred, via a bus connected thereto, to one of a pair of alternate buffers pointed to by a write buffer pointer, which is subsequently toggled to point to another of the pair of alternate buffers. A second signal is received that signals a timing for refreshing the LED display. In response to the second signal, the bit-based image block is retrieved from the one of the pair of alternate buffers pointed to by a read buffer pointer, which is then toggled to point to the other of the pair of alternate buffers. The lights of the LED display are then refreshed in accordance with control signals generated based on the bit-based image block.

  • Patent number: 11557110
Abstract: Techniques are described for selective extraction of color attributes from digital images that overcome the challenges experienced in conventional systems for color extraction. In an implementation, a user applies a region selector to a source image to select a portion of the source image for color attribute extraction. A graphics editing system identifies a selected region of the source image as well as visual objects of the source image included as part of the selected region. The graphics editing system iterates through the selected visual objects and extracts color attributes from the visual objects, such as color values, patterns, gradients, gradient stops, opacity, color area, and so forth. The graphics editing system then generates a color palette that includes the extracted color attributes, and the color palette is able to be utilized for various image editing tasks, such as digital image creation and transformation.

Abstract: Techniques are described for virtual representation creation and display. Processing circuitry may identify substantially transparent pixels in a virtual hairstyle, identify a first set of pixels that are away from the identified substantially transparent pixels, increase an opacity level for a second set of pixels that excludes the first set of pixels by a first amount, and generate the virtual hairstyle based on the first set of pixels and the second set of pixels having the increased opacity level. With the generated virtual hairstyle, processing circuitry of a personal computing device may blend, in a first pass, one or more pixels of the version of the generated virtual hairstyle having an opacity level greater than or equal to a threshold opacity level, and blend, in a second pass, one or more pixels of the version of the generated virtual hairstyle having an opacity level less than the threshold opacity level.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to facilitating data preprocessing for machine learning. In accordance with aspects of the present disclosure, a training set of data is accessed. A preprocessing query specifying a set of preprocessing parameter values that indicate a manner in which to preprocess the training set of data is received. Based on the preprocessing query, a preprocessing operation is performed to preprocess the training set of data in accordance with the set of preprocessing parameter values to obtain a set of preprocessed data. The set of preprocessed data can be provided for presentation as a preview. Based on an acceptance of the set of preprocessed data, the set of preprocessed data is used to train a machine learning model that can be subsequently used to predict data.

Abstract: In implementations of contrast-ratio-based color generation, a user interface displays on a display device of a computing device, where the user interface includes a background color and content colors of content displayed in the user interface. A color generation module implemented by the computing device receives an input that changes the background color in the user interface. The color generation module can then calculate a brightness value of the background color, calculate target contrast ratios of the respective content colors based on the brightness value of the background color, generate color values for new content colors based on the calculated target contrast ratios of the respective content colors, calculate respective brightness values of the new content colors based on the generated color values for the new content colors, and adjust a saturation and hue of the new content colors based on the calculated respective brightness values of the new content colors.

Abstract: Certain embodiments involve synthesizing image content depicting facial hair or other hair features based on orientation data obtained using guidance inputs or other user-provided guidance data. For instance, a graphic manipulation application accesses guidance data identifying a desired hair feature and an appearance exemplar having image data with color information for the desired hair feature. The graphic manipulation application transforms the guidance data into an input orientation map. The graphic manipulation application matches the input orientation map to an exemplar orientation map having a higher resolution than the input orientation map. The graphic manipulation application generates the desired hair feature by applying the color information from the appearance exemplar to the exemplar orientation map. The graphic manipulation application outputs the desired hair feature at a presentation device.
