Abstract: In a method for managing files using an electronic device, the method determines whether a touch operation on a touchscreen corresponds to an icon of a confirmed file. If the touch operation corresponds to the icon of the confirmed file, touch operations of dragging the icon of the confirmed file to an icon of a target folder on the touchscreen are detected. The icon of the confirmed file is controlled to move towards the icon of the target folder and the target folder is confirmed. The confirmed file is stored into the target folder when the target folder is confirmed.

While the cursor is within a region, an associated function effects the displayed graphical information in a particular way, such as continuously panning, drawing, zooming, or rotating. Upon rolling-out of a region without entering a contiguous region, the last function continues to execute and all popped up regions are removed such that the user may utilize the entire display without being switched to another function. In a simple form, after release of the mouse button, a tool may zoom out if the user held the mouse substantially stationary and zoom in on a rectangle if the mouse was dragged. Upon accepting a scroll operation of instructing scroll display of the image displayed in the display area, the apparatus performs the scroll display in accordance with the scroll operation. At this time, the apparatus adjusts the non-image area to decrease the width of the non-image area in the moving direction of the scroll during execution of the scroll display as the operation amount of the accepted scroll operation increases.

Abstract: Information display means displays information. Movement instruction detecting means detects an instruction to move the information displayed on the information display means. Number of moving regions calculating means calculates, based on the instruction, the number of moving regions, which is the amount of movement of the present invention displayed on the information display means. Movement indicator line determination means determines a movement indicator line, which is a predetermined line, according to the number of moving regions from a reference position that is used as reference when the information displayed on the information display means is moved. Movement display means displays the movement indicator line determined by the movement indicator line determination means on the information display means.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for distinguishing superimposed links to a node in a drawing area. Links connected to a side of a node involved in an editing interaction are identified. The order of the identified links to be connected to the side of the node is determined by sorting the identified links based on the coordinates of the links' bend point and/or opposite end point. The connection points of these identified links are repositioned based on this determined order. By only repositioning the connection points to the node involved in the editing interaction instead of rerouting all of the links in the diagram area, the processing time is improved. Furthermore, by repositioning the connection points that were superimposed so that they are spaced apart based on the coordinates of the links' bend point and/or opposite end point, it is easier to distinguish between the different links.

Abstract: To provide an information terminal device contributing to prevention of an operation not intended by a user. A communication management unit (512) of an SVG processing unit (510) displays an image (confirmation image) for requesting a user to perform a confirmation input to confirm whether to be connected to the network before performing network connection according to the definition of a link definition unit (630) in the SVG content (600). When the user rejects the network connection, the link defined by the link definition unit (630) is not referenced. On the other hand, when the user permits the network connection, the communication management unit (512) requests the data of the address defined by the link definition unit (630) from the HTTP server (10) or the like specified in the address. Upon reception of a response to this, a communication state display unit (513) displays the data reception state according to the report from a communication state report unit (121).

Abstract: The claimed subject matter provides a system and/or a method for simulating grasping of a virtual object. Virtual 3D objects receive simulated user input forces via a 2D input surface adjacent to them. An exemplary method comprises receiving a user input corresponding to a grasping gesture that includes at least two simulated contacts with the virtual object. The grasping gesture is modeled as a simulation of frictional forces on the virtual object. A simulated physical effect on the virtual object by the frictional forces is determined. At least one microprocessor is used to display a visual image of the virtual object moving according to the simulated physical effect.
