  • Publication number: 20110164065
Abstract: A method includes displaying, on a single large surface display, a first moveable and second fixed portion of a visual test object. The first portion is displayed on the display to be configured and the second portion is displayed on at least one neighboring display, and are shown in a relative orientation adjacent to a common border formed by a first bezel of the display to be configured and a second bezel of the at least one neighboring display, and any space in between. The method obtains bezel compensation configuration information in response to input aligning the first portion with the second portion. A user may provide input by moving the first portion to align it with the second portion so that a third portion of the visual test object appears hidden by the common border. The object therefore appears aligned “behind” the bezel.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are disclosed for associating and presenting media content items with locations on a geographical track path. For example, the frames of a video segment can be associated with locations on a track path. The track path can be based on position data, including position coordinates and a corresponding time coordinates, obtained while the video frames were captured. Locations for the video frames can be determined based on a start time of the video segment, a frame rate of the video segment, and the position data. The video segment can be displayed with user controls that enable a user to manipulate the frame of the video segment being displayed including a time indicator and a location indicator displayed on the track path.

  • Patent number: 7911482
Abstract: The invention is a method and apparatus for quickly marking object trajectories in an image sequence. The traditional method of manually tracking an object is by marking the location of the object in each image in the image sequence. In the present invention, the object is first tracked in one direction by one quick stroke of a spatial input device across the subsampled image sequence that is laid out in that direction. The object is then tracked in an orthogonal direction by another quick stroke of the spatial input device across the same subsampled image sequence that is laid out in the orthogonal direction. The intersections of the two tracks will then form the points of the 2-D neo-trajectory, which is then interpolated onto the image sequence. The invention is useful not only for quick manual annotation of tracks, but also for performance evaluation and optimization of automatic tracking algorithms.

  • Patent number: 7574663
Abstract: The object-oriented approach used by the present invention provides the ability to develop and manage Internet transactions. Local applications can be accessed using any workstation connected to the Internet regardless of the workstation's configuration. Some or all of a Web page can be generated dynamically using input received in a returned page, generated at runtime, or retrieved from an external data source (e.g., database or electronic mail system). When the Web page definition is rendered, the information contained in template(s), declaration file(s), and object(s) are used to generate standard definitions. State information is maintained across transactions. Using state information, virtual applications, sessions, transactions, and pages can be implemented. Self-contained modules, or components, provide the ability to share implementations and create multi-content documents. Event objects can be used to assist in event handling management.

Abstract: A computer-implementable method, system and computer-usable medium includes a virtual contact group that can be dynamically created, in response to a particular user input such as, for example, registration by the user with a particular organization and/or facility. The virtual contact group generally includes a plurality of key or designated personnel. The virtual contact group is associated with the user. The designated personnel are then allowed to communicate electronically with one another within the virtual contact group to provide a coordinate service to the user. The virtual contact group is defined based on a user profile associated with the user. The virtual contact group can be stored within one or more memory locations of a computing device associated with one or more designated personnel among the virtual contact group. Such a computing device can be, for example, a wireless communication device capable communicating with the network and/or a server associated with the network.
