  • Patent number: 10225548
Abstract: 3D television set or its external speaker box has container for a plurality of 3D spectacles. Container can locate individual 3D spectacles therein. Each of 3D spectacles has unique modulation reflector of infrared synchronizing signal. 3D television set displays 3D image on 3D program upon use of 3D spectacles detected directly by the modulation reflection or indirectly by 3D spectacles not remaining in container. 3D television set displays 2D image on 3D program if nonuse of 3D spectacles is detected directly by the no modulation reflection or indirectly by 3D spectacles remaining in container. Upon detection of nonuse, recommendation display is made to ware 3D spectacles. During 2D commercial message, synchronizing signal is halted. Recommendation to put unnecessary 3D spectacles in container is made upon end of every program, or end of 3D program followed by 2D program, or right before power off of 3D television set.

Abstract: Some embodiments relate to a method of displaying items on a touch-sensitive display. The method includes showing a camera on the touch-sensitive display and detecting contact with the camera on the touch-sensitive display. The method further includes manipulating the camera based on a gesture conducted on the touch-sensitive display, wherein the gesture includes making contact with the touch sensitive display at a plurality of locations. The plurality of locations are arranged in a pattern that defines operation of the camera. Other embodiments relate to a method that includes showing a menu on the touch-sensitive display that includes a plurality of camera movement operations and detecting contact with the camera on the touch-sensitive display. The method further includes detecting contact with the menu on the touch-sensitive display to select a particular camera movement operation and manipulating the camera based on a gesture conducted on the touch-sensitive display.

  • Patent number: 8826353
Abstract: A connection setting method, used in a camera system in which at least one camera head unit is connected to at least one camera control unit that controls the camera head unit via a single transmission network in order to connect the camera control unit includes: measuring delay of image data from the camera head unit to be connected; and determining a transmission rate at which image data is transmitted from the camera head unit to be connected. The determining is so carried out that when the delay is greater than a threshold corresponding to the amount of data smaller than or equal to a maximum amount of transmission over the network, the sum of the transmission rates at which image data transmitted over the network is smaller than or equal to the maximum amount of transmission over the network and image data having a higher preset priority is transmitted at a higher transmission rate.
