The timing controller generates the TE signal having a first frequency during a period from a first time point when the notification signal is received to a second time point when the application processor starts transmitting the image frame to the data processing circuit. The first frequency is greater than a reference frequency based on an output frame rate of the display control circuit.

Once the host device has finished adjusting the TCON, the TCON can exit the PSR mode and the host device can provide a new data stream to the TCON without any apparent display artifacts being output by the display panel.

Example transducers and processing systems may also have a passive wake-up feature for power reduction; that is, they may only draw power when water or another fluid flows through the pipe.
