Abstract: The present invention relates to a safety band for a CRT which is capable of increasing a stability of use by enhancing an anti-explosion characteristic based on an optimum band size corresponding to each panel by engaging a safety band to a CRT in which a FCD or a panel obtained by expanding an effective screen is adapted. In a CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) including a panel having an outer flat surface and an inner surface having a certain curvature, and a safety band bent at a mold match line of a side wall portion of the panel and continuously surrounding a side wall portion of the panel in the lengthy direction, a CRT safety band according to the present invention satisfies an expression of inequality of 30.16(%)≦D/W×100≦41.27(%) where W represents the entire width, D represents a width from a front end portion in the width direction to the bent portion.

Abstract: Circuits and buses directed to analog signal processing are accommodated in a cabinet functioning as an electromagnetic shielding. Circuits and buses directed to digital signal processing are disposed outside the cabinet. In order to minimize generation of noise from the bus through which digital data is transmitted, a microprocessor combines a plurality of signals and data as digital data for output onto a bus from one I/O port. A decoder that receives and separates the combined data is provided in the cabinet. Data is transferred between the microprocessor and the decoder through one bus. As a result, a digital/analog common tuner has the influence of noise generated from a digital signal processing system on the analog signal processing system suppressed, improving the reception properties.

Abstract: A display control apparatus has a display panel, which is placed in its inactive state through a user's operation when not being used, on the one hand, and is placed in is active state when being used, on the other hand. After completing the display of video, the display panel is received automatically, thus ensuring protection of the display panel. It also prevents a beginning part of video from being hidden for a user. All video can be displayed on the display panel that stands up in its prescribed active state. In the display control apparatus, a rotary motor driver and a slider motor driver are used for placing the display panel received in a receiver. An encoder detects whether or not the display panel is placed in its prescribed active state. When the active state of the display panel is detected, an output controller outputs a video signal to the display panel for display.

Abstract: In the case where the cabinet has many long segments, it takes a long period of time until they are cooled in a die. In addition, looseness was produced between the board and the guide rail due to a presence of pulling taper and this looseness became a cause of generating vibrating sound. There are constituted integral molded guide rails integrally molded with the casing to support the front end of the board when the board is stored in a casing along a predetermined wall surface, and a board holder constituted as a separate component from the integral molded guide rail, capable of sliding the board and inserting it. Accordingly, it is not necessary to oppositely face a long rail having the substantial same length as that of the board as the integral molded guide rail and so a speed in which the molded product is cooled in a die is made fast. Further, since the board holder is a separate component element, looseness between the board and the guide rail can be easily reduced.
