Abstract: An RF digitization and collection system (RFDCS) and methods for implementing the RF digitization and collection system to manage an application storage and retrieval space (App Space), wherein the App Space includes apps that may perform various offline and/or real-time transforms of RF signals received, stored, or played back on the RFDCS. Also, in the various embodiments, the RFDCS may govern the system resources available to these apps while ensuring that the RFDCS's core system functions are not impacted by the execution of one or more of these apps in the App Space. Thus, the RFDCS may enable users to utilize real-time signal processing by running various specialized apps without compromising the RFDCS's core system function, thereby promoting dynamic “on-the-fly” transformation of raw RF signals without compromising the user's overall experience.
Abstract: In a wireless content sharing system, audio may be captured at various levels of a source device, including at an application level. Audio may also be divided into components prior to packetization and transmission, allowing different channels of audio to be sent to different target devices. Audio may be sent with timing information to coordinate playback of content. Audio may be buffered to reduce user noticeable latency.

Abstract: A method and system for tunable distribution of content are disclosed. Preferably, the content comprises digital rights and/or watermark information. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method comprises receiving a request from a client. One or more content files related to the request and a user profile of a user are determined. One or more seeders are assigned to start the delivery of the one or more content files. The client is allowed to obtain a plurality of pieces of the one or more content files from the one or more seeders. At least one piece of the plurality of pieces of the one or more content files contains digital rights and/or watermark information.

Abstract: Systems, apparatus and methods are provided to detect live video data satisfying user specified criteria and consolidate live broadcasting management, analysis of detected video data, and notification of potential viewers.
Abstract: A computer implemented method, data processing system, and computer usable program code are provided for associating historical events with a user. A historical event is identified for association with the user. A determination is made as to whether the historical event has been certified by a trusted authority in response to identifying the historical event for association with the user. A historical object is created for the historical event if the historical event has been certified by the trusted authority and associated with the user.
