Abstract: An image projection apparatus obtains a first partial image, which is a part of a projection target image. The image projection apparatus also receives, from another image projection apparatus, a first overlap image that is a portion of an image corresponding to a predetermined overlap area in which a projected image that the image projection apparatus projects and a projected image projected by another image projection apparatus overlap with each other, and that is not included in the first partial image. Then, the image projection apparatus projects a combined image obtained by combining the received first overlap image and the first partial image.
