  • Patent number: 10679680
Abstract: Certain exemplary aspects of the present disclosure are directed towards dual cavity apparatus and related methods involving hermetically sealing the cavities by evacuating and atmosphere therein, filling the cavity with a gas, and sealing the gas in the cavities. This evacuation and fill approach is carried out through openings that provide access to the cavities. During evacuation of at least one of the cavities through one of the openings, one or more spacers prevent the cavity from collapsing in response to the vacuum force.

The locking device has a blocking portion. The clasping portion of the locking base is fastened to the locking device in a form of line-surface interface contact. The blocking portion reciprocates a back and forth motion on the elastic protrusion of the locking base to allow the locking device to retain either a lock status or an unlock status correspondingly. When the locking device retains the lock status, the locking device buckles the upper cover assembly. When the locking device retains the unlock status, the upper cover assembly can be ejected from the locking base by pushing the pressing unit.

  • Patent number: 7978433
Abstract: When a medium casing is properly inserted, a first pair of projections and a second pair of projections are passed through between a first bottom surface and a second bottom surface of a chassis in the moving direction and are thus prevented from coming into contact with the first and second bottom surfaces, thereby allowing for smooth insertion of the medium casing. In contrast, when the medium casing is inserted improperly from its wrong end, one of the projections on the lower surface of the medium casing comes into abutment with the second bottom surface of the chassis near the opening. Accordingly, an improperly inserted medium casing can be prevented from being inserted any further at an early stage of the insertion process.

Abstract: A magnetic recording medium comprises a nonmagnetic substrate on which is disposed at least a vertical magnetic layer. The vertical magnetic layer comprises at least three layers including a lower layer, an intermediate layer and an upper layer from the substrate side. The lower, intermediate and upper magnetic layers are bound by ferro-coupling and are constituted of magnetic particles which are columnar crystals extending continuously from the lower layer to the upper layer. A nonmagnetic layer is between the lower and intermediate magnetic layers or between the intermediate and upper magnetic layers. The upper layer has a magnetic anisotropic constant (Ku) from 0.8×106 to 4×106 (erg/cc), the intermediate layer has a magnetic anisotropic constant (Ku) from 2×106 to 7×106 (erg/cc) and the lower layer has a magnetic anisotropic constant (Ku) from 1×106 to 4×106 (erg/cc).
