  • Patent number: 10003870
Abstract: A loudspeaker module emitting sound at a lateral side comprises a loudspeaker unit and a module housing comprising a lower module housing, a middle module housing and an upper module housing. A space formed by the loudspeaker unit, the middle module housing and the lower module housing is a rear sound cavity. A space formed by the loudspeaker unit, the middle module housing and the upper module housing is a front sound cavity. The loudspeaker module further comprises a cover plate which forms a cavity together with the upper module housing. The cavity is communicated with the rear sound cavity through a conducting hole. By utilizing the loudspeaker module of the present invention, superfluous space of the upper module housing can be converted into the rear sound cavity, and therefore the size of the rear sound cavity is increased, and the acoustic performance of the loudspeaker module is improved.

  • Patent number: 8659849
Abstract: A hermetically resealable hard-disk drive (HDD) configured for recharging with a low-density gas. The hermetically resealable HDD includes a disk enclosure (DE), a magnetic-recording disk, a head-slider, an actuator, a low-density gas, a through-hole, and a plug. The DE includes a base, and a first cover and a second cover joined to the base. The second cover is disposed above the first cover. The through-hole is configurable for injection of a low-density gas into the DE. The low-density gas, having a density less than air, substantially fills the DE. The plug is press-fitted into, and hermetically seals, the through-hole. The plug is removable to allow recharging the DE with the low-density gas; and, the through-hole is configured to accept a resealing plug to be press-fit into, and to reseal hermetically, the through-hole after recharging. • Patent number: 8564900
Abstract: In a disk drive device having a double cover structure with low-density gas enclosed therein, embodiments of the present invention help to securely perform leak inspection on an outer cover and to prevent defects caused in joining the outer cover. According to one embodiment, a hard disk drive (HDD) comprises a flow amount adjuster on a base-facing side of its inner cover. Helium gas in an enclosure goes out through a ventilation hole via diffusion channel of a flow amount adjuster. The emitted helium gas remains in the space between the inner cover and an outer cover. This achieves easier detection of the leakage of helium gas from the joining section of the outer cover and prevention of emission of too much helium gas from the enclosure.
