  • Patent number: 5982611
Abstract: Angle members forming the vertically extending supply buses in a meter center have arcuate offsets so that flanges on the ends of horizontally extending tenant buses form tenant stab contacts which are vertically aligned with supply stab contacts on straight sections of the outwardly projecting flanges of the supply bus angle members. Meter socket assemblies have double ended fastenerless meter jaws one pair of which plug onto the supply bus stab contacts and another pair of which plug onto the tenant bus stab contacts, and into which the meters are plugged. The double ended fastenerless meter jaws are fabricated from a pair of elongated flat members having end sections bent back on and diverging from straight center sections, and terminal sections which extend toward each other from the end sections and converge slightly toward the center sections. Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, an ignition coil assembly includes a primary coil and a secondary coil. A primary connector assembly of the ignition coil assembly includes a conductor which is adapted to electrically connect one terminal of the primary coil with one terminal of the secondary coil. The conductor includes indentations which delimit a portion of the conductor and facilitate the removal of that portion of the conductor. The conductor further includes provisions for electrically connecting an electrical component such as diode in place of the removed portion of the conductor. The present invention thus facilitates inclusion of an electrical component such as a diode in applications which will benefit from the inclusion of the electrical component in place of the conductor.

  • Patent number: 5386337
Abstract: A unit for controlling valves being actuated by electromagnets for a pressure fluid includes a housing having a housing frame and a lid defining an interior. At least one valve coil and components of the at least one valve coil, such as a wound coil body and a yoke ring, are disposed in the housing. The at least one valve coil is spaced from the housing frame defining interstices therebetween, and the components are mutually spaced apart defining interstices therebetween. A circuit carrier is disposed in the interior of the housing and is electrically connected to each valve coil. The same resilient potting composition fills up the interstices between the components and between each valve coil and the housing frame, without any boundary layers. A method for producing such a unit includes resiliently embedding the components and the at least one valve coil in the housing frame in one operation with the resilient potting composition.
