Pressing the ON/OFF switch a first time activates the lights and starts the timer. Pressing the ON/OFF switch a second time while the timer is still activated will deactivate the lights. If the predetermined time elapses and the ON/OFF switch is not pressed a second time, the lights will deactivate automatically. The lighting strip is covered in a PVC protective coating and encased in a fabric encasement to match the interior of the container.
