Abstract: A convection cooling system for high-output Light Emitting Diodes in outdoor illumination applications. The cooling system takes advantage of wide-angle LED output so as to allow placement of cooling fins directly on the shaded underside of the molded or extruded support structure. Accordingly, the cooling system provides a relatively large convective surface area with a substantial portion of that surface shaded from solar radiation so as not to collect solar heat during daytime periods while still expelling heat as it is collected from finned portions that are exposed to sunlight and so do collect solar heat.

Abstract: An adjustable LED display module is provided, including a plurality of light-emitting units, and at least a set of spacing adjusting mechanism. The spacing adjusting mechanism is of a retractable grid-like structure or a retractable mesh-structure. The plural light-emitting units are distributed on different locations of the components of the spacing adjusting mechanism. When the spacing adjusting mechanism operates to adjust the spacing, at least spacing between some neighboring light-emitting units will change so that the location after adjustment will vary. Hence, the display module will have different form factor and light dots arrangement to provide higher flexibility to fit various application environments and conditions as well as convenience for storage and transportation when contracted.

Abstract: A triangular red LED warning device comprises a compact box. A pair of oblique side red LED flashing boards, a base side red LED flashing board and a pair of supporting leg plates. The pair of oblique side red LED flashing boards are connected frictionally by a frictional tightening means at each one end to both ends of the base side red LED flashing board, and their each other ends are also connected detachably by means of an elastic connecting pin at neighborhood of the vertical angle, which is formed by the both oblique side boards. Thus, the triangular red LED flashing board can make various signal forms by frictional rotation and stoppage of the each oblique side board for a suitable degree against gravity, and can be freely folded to be received into a compact box after using.

Abstract: A channel letter lighting system comprising a plurality of lighting units that are interconnected by a conductor. Each of the units is coupled to the conductor such that an electrical signal applied to the conductor causes the lighting units to emit light. The length of the conductor between said units is adjustable to vary the distance between adjacent ones of the lighting units. In other embodiment the lighting units comprise a plurality of emitters. A conductor is included for carrying an electrical signal with the lighting units connected to and interconnected by a conductor. An electrical signal applied to the conductor causes the emitters emit light. The lighting units are separable into sections each of which comprise at least one of the plurality of emitters and each of which remains connected to the conductor. The length of the conductor between the sections can be adjustable to vary the distance between adjacent ones of the sections.

Abstract: A portable light intended for mounting on a garment as support includes two LED light sources spaced apart towards the rear of the portable light. A clipped base below on anchor facilitates locating a garment between the anchor and the base, and a spring action urges the base toward the anchor. A hingedly movable head for the LEDs is mounted on the housing to move to and form the housing. An opening of the housing causes a switch in the housing to move between an opened and closed position such that a circuit actives or deactivates the LED lights when the head opens or closes relative to the housing.

Abstract: A lighting device is disclosed. The lighting device can include a light bar and a base having an elongated groove shaped to receive the light bar. The light bar can be rotatable relative to the base around an axis substantially perpendicular to the long axis of the light bar. Rotation of the light bar around this axis can move the light bar into and out of the elongated groove, thus converting the lighting device between compact and expanded configurations. For greater maneuverability, the light bar can include a light source housing portion rotatable around an axis substantially parallel to the long axis of the light bar. The light source housing portion can include two or more light emitting diodes positioned along the long axis of the light bar. The lighting device can be used with a mounting sleeve shaped to receive, for example, one end of the base.
