Abstract: An assembly structure for an energy-saving lamp includes a controlling IC board installed in the lamp seat, a lid that covers the lamp seat, lamp tubes set and fixed onto the lid, and an inductance heat radiating seat installed on the lid; the inductance heat radiating seat allows for an inductance to be installed inside. The inductance and the controlling IC board are separated, and thus damage to the inductance and related components from continuous overheating of the controlling IC board can be avoided. Due to the isolated design of the lid and the lamp seat it is easy to disassemble and change the component parts of either the lamp tubes or the controlling IC board in the event of malfunction. Finally, because the lamp tubes of the present invention branch out horizontally, the lamp's area of illumination is significantly increased. Overall, the present invention achieves the advantages of reducing cost, convenient repair and increasing the lighting area.

  • Patent number: 7370986
Abstract: A lamp body for a fluorescent lamp has multiple sections arranged on an inner surface of the lamp body. The sections include at least one coated section coated with fluorescent powders and at least one non-coated section being naked and kept free from fluorescent powders. The fluorescent powders generate visible lights when colliding with ultraviolet rays. The visible lights can directly pass out of the lamp body through the at least one non-coated section to form a light source and improve a luminance of the fluorescent lamp.

  • Patent number: 7367698
Abstract: A hand-held portable drop-light is provided. The light comprises a handle, a housing, a cover, a novel mounting assembly, and a light bulb. The mounting assembly is configured with a pivoting light bulb socket and positioned within the handle for mounting the light bulb within a housing interior. The housing possesses an aperture through which the container interior and light bulb may be accessed. The cover is reversibly attached to the housing so as to inhibit access to the light bulb through the aperture. When replacing the light bulb, the cover is moved from the aperture and the mounting assembly is pivoted between a retracted position, where the bulb is substantially retained within the housing and an extended position, where a portion of the bulb is positioned outside the housing. In this manner, the light bulb is easily accessed for replacement.

  • Patent number: 7360922
Abstract: A light tube assembly includes a light tube and a stabilizer which includes a tubular body with copper members that are slidably engaged with curved slots in a base. A core with terminal plates is received in the tubular body and two locking pin 51s extend through grooves in the tubular body and are removably inserted into the base. An end cap is rotatably connected to the core and is positioned at three positions. The three positions allow the user to replace the base, to replace the light tube and to secure the light tube respectively.

  • Patent number: 7350956
Abstract: A backlight unit prevents the display quality degradation of a LCD device and improves the long-term reliability thereof. The unit comprises at least one fluorescent lamp having a first end and a second end; a first cable or wire connected to the first end of the lamp; and a second cable or wire connected to the second end of the lamp. The first cable or wire is different in shape or type from the second cable or wire. A conductor of the first cable or wire is approximately equal in cross-sectional area to that of the second cable or wire. When two or more fluorescent lamps are used, a cross-sectional area of the conductor of the first cable connected commonly to the first ends of the lamps is approximately equal to the sum of cross-sectional areas of the conductors of the second cables or wires connected respectively to the second ends thereof.
