Abstract: A light emitting diode device is provided. The light emitting diode device comprises a composite substrate and a light emitting diode disposed on the composite substrate. The composite substrate comprises a first carbon fiber composite layer which is able to conduct heat rapidly in the direction of carbon fiber, such that the heat generated from the light emitting diode module can be dissipated rapidly.
Abstract: A light-emitting device for gently projecting light is disclosed. The light-emitting device includes a light emitter having a first electrode and a second electrode disposed on the light emitter for emitting light, an encapsulation for encapsulating the light emitter, part of the first electrode, and part of the second electrode with a concave lens disposed on one side of the encapsulation, a reflective material attached to the convex reflector, and a concave reflective substrate disposed beneath the encapsulation to manipulate light and meet specific illumination needs.
Abstract: A light emitting device is disclosed herein which includes a substrate, a housing, a light emitting die, and a cup with a reflective inner surface. The housing has an upper surface and at least one sidewall and is mounted on the upper surface of the substrate, thereby forming a cavity. The light emitting die is mounted on the upper surface of the substrate within the cavity. The cup is positioned within the cavity and is supported by the housing. The cup has a continuous sidewall with a reflective inner surface surrounding the light emitting die and a lowermost edge that is suspended above, detached and spaced away from the upper surface of the substrate.

Abstract: A method of producing a lamp, including: mounting light emitting junctions in respective receptacles; mounting the receptacles on a curved support structure so as to form a three-dimensional array; and placing the light emitting junctions in electrical connection with the support structure.
Abstract: Disclosed are a light emitting device and a method for manufacturing the same. The light emitting device includes a substrate having a lead frame, a light emitting diode mounted on the substrate, a mold member formed on the substrate and the light emitting diode, and a reflecting member having an opening portion at one side thereof and being inclined at an outer portion of the mold member.
Abstract: A light emitting device is produced using a plurality of light emitting diodes within a light mixing cavity formed by surrounding sidewalls. The sidewalls may be integrally formed as part of a surrounding heat sink or alternatively may be an insert into a cavity within a heat sink. The reflective sidewalls may be coated with a diffusing material and/or covered with one or more phosphors. Multiple phosphors are located at different locations of the cavity, e.g., on the sidewalls, a window covering the output port, or on a reflector attached to the bottom of the cavity. The light emitting diodes may be positioned rotationally symmetrically around the optical axis on a board.

Abstract: A lighted background for mounting on a wall of an aquarium fish tank or the like includes a front panel having an image formed thereon. Light apertures are formed through the front panel and lighting is provided behind the panel to direct light through the apertures. Translucent material covering the apertures and reflective material behind the lights enhances the lighting effect.
