  • Patent number: 7322719
Abstract: An illumination system comprises a first light source device, a second light source device and a second reflecting portion. A first reflecting portion of the first light source device covers a part area of an opening of a reflecting shade, and the other area of the opening is formed a first light outlet. The second light source device is installed in front of the opening and has a second light outlet. A second reflecting portion is installed between the first and the second light source devices. After overlapping the optical routes of the multiple light source devices and integrating beams into a parallel light beam, the parallel light beam is then output out of the single light source device. Therefore, the brightness of entirety can be enhanced, and the uniformity of images on the screen is still maintained even one of the light source devices is damaged.

  • Patent number: 7275840
Abstract: A luminaire for indirect lighting has a main reflector, a counter-reflector with a light emission window in a plane T. The counter-reflector and reflector are oppositely arranged. The main reflector has a reflecting surface built up from a plurality of facets n having a curvature in cross-section. The curvature of each respective facet n is such that light coming from a light emission window and hitting a given facet n is reflected through an angle of reflection ?n<=?n??, in which, ? is a smallest angle of reflection with the plane T at which glare is just counteracted, and ?n is a greatest angle of reflection with the plane T at which reflected light just clears the counter-reflector.

  • Patent number: 7222992
Abstract: A luminaire includes at least two lamps and a main reflector whose outer edge defines a light emission window. A counter reflector is provided opposite the main reflector. Light originating from the lamps can only leave the luminaire through the light emission window after passing through a diffuser and/or a mixer which are positioned in a counter light emission window of the counter reflector and on an edge of the counter reflector, respectively. Homogeneously mixed light can thus be obtained from the luminaire when two lamps of different color temperatures are used.
