    Abstract: A portable lamp for demonstration of a sports theme comprises: a) a base; b) a supporting member projecting from the base having an upper end portion; and, c) a generally spherical light source carrying lamp head, carried by the upper end portion of the upright shaft, having an outer segment and a diametrically smaller inner segment, said segments generally semi-spherical and having opposite end portions pivotally attached. Then the segments can be rotated closed to generally form a sphere, or alternatively rotated so that the sphere then has an open segment and the light source therein can radiate light therethrough. Light emitted through the open segment can be controlled by varying a width of said open segment. Most preferably the supporting member comprises an upright shaft capable of manipulation so that its upper end portion can be positioned at a selected angular orientation with respect to the base.

Then, a material having high light transmittance is injected into the mold. After the plastic material is formed, the mold is released, so that the plastic material is formed into a sheet-like light-guiding plate, and one surface of the light-guiding plate is formed with a plurality of light-guiding portions thereon. The light-guiding plate is disposed in the key module of an electronic device. The second end of the reflector extension (108) also is open to allow the light from the arc to exit the reflector extension (108). A transparent plate (110) placed across this second open end prevents glass from leaving the reflector extension (108).

LEDs may be mounted in various areas of the respective primary interior zone and secondary interior zones. The light fixture may also have dimmer control switches/sensors and there may be sensors for remote control operation for turning the respective lamps on and off.
