The tube-like lamp has two terminal portions adapted for electrically connecting to a power source and a bending portion between the terminal portions. The main body is provided with a support having two hooked portions configured to support the tube-like lamp. The present invention further provides another tube-like lamp characterized by having a buffer part securely attached on the bending portion for lessening or absorbing the shock of an impact on the tube-like lamp. The support may has a gap between the hooked portions such that the tube-like lamp fit with sufficient tightness into the gap between the hooked portions thereby immobilizing the tube-like lamp more efficiently and absorbing the shock.

Sets of complementary tabs formed in the housing provide means for locking a plurality of lamp clips at predetermined positions on the track. An improved lamp clip includes means for connecting the lamp clip to the track and separate means for making electrical contact between the lamp and one of the conductors in the track. The lamp clip has corresponding apertures for receiving the complementary tabs in the track to lock the lamp clip in position, and an outwardly-extending tang integral with one side thereof for making electrical contact with the conductor.

Abstract: A recessed light fixture includes spring steel mounting clips having a first portion fixed to the outside of the cylindrical housing and having a second portion extending through an inverted T aperture in the sidewall housing. For use, the fixture is positioned in a hole and the user pushes the free end of the mounting clip through its aperture. A neck near the free end will then reach the aperture and the tension of the spring steel mounting clip will push the free end upward, with the narrowed neck guided within the longitudinal portion of the inverted T. The expanded portion around the neck restrains the clip from disengaging accidentally. In this second position, the outer portion of the clip is pushed away from the housing to engage and/or inhibit the movement of the fixture relative to the ceiling. The clip has a concave portion, a bend, and a convex portion outside the housing in this second position. Also disclosed is a twist off detachable junction box at the top of the housing.

Curved sections may be provided on the body between the hook and the spiral to receive additional rope lights. A hook may be provided to mount rope lights above the top lip of the gutter or adjacent the flat portion at the top of the gutter.

Abstract: The present invention provides a lamp tube support structure, which comprises a support piece for fixing a lamp tube. The lamp tube support structure comprises a first half and a second half. The first half has a gap. A clamping portion is formed at two extension ends of the gap. A guard ear is annularly disposed at the inner edge of the gap. Grooves are disposed at left and right ends of the second half. A wing portion is formed below the grooves. The wing portion can be jammed into a hole of a rack for supporting the lamp tube after being bent. The wing portion will elastically spring back to be erectly fixed on the rack. When the lamp tube is placed at the gap of the support piece, it will be fixedly supported on the rack.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for hanging rope lights on a gutter. The light holder has a spiral that fits over the lip of a gutter and a hook at an opposite end sized to receive a rope light. The body is shaped so that the hook is opposite a curved portion of the front wall of the gutter, at the intersection of the front wall and the bottom of the gutter or below the bottom of the gutter. Curved sections may be provided on the body between the hook and the spiral to receive additional rope lights. A hook may be provided to mount rope lights above the top lip of the gutter or adjacent the flat portion at the top of the gutter.

Abstract: To enable legal twenty-four hour national flag display, to permit night display of vehicle-mounted school and team flags, and to do either with minimal increase in night sky light pollution, I mount a light source immediately adjacent a flag and direct the light essentially directly toward the flag, rather than upwardly into the sky. Preferably, the light source is provided within a transparent portion of the flag-mounting pole, and is ideally focused directly toward the flag by a reflector which is adapted to shift positions with changes in flag positions due to directional changes of air flow across the flag.

The two side rails are mounted to the sides of the parabolic louver to reinforce the louver, to provide a light seal, and to precisely locate the louver below the light source.
