A portal or opening lets light escape in a predetermined direction, and is in visual communication with and surrounding a light source enveloped by a bi-phased liquid. The bi-phased liquid includes bits of meltable wax. A heat source located in the base portion of the lamp, is in thermal communication with the liquid. As the heating element melts the wax, which is suspended in the liquid, the wax melts and floats freely in the liquid, thereby passing through the light source and casting shadows onto walls and surrounding area.

A plurality of glass units with various cut-outs that may be removably attached to the lamp unit so that the glass units may be used to change the image projected by the lamp unit. A control unit contained in the housing controls the speed of the rotatable ball bearing unit to control the speed of the moving light image.

The result is an enhanced artistic effect when the images, which are also movable, are projected onto a projection surface which may be a solid surface or theatrical fog.

    Abstract: A decorative light is disclosed. It includes a hollow base seat having a bulb seat on bottom portion for a bulb to fit in. The bulb is surrounded by a thermally insulated sheet which is spaced from the base seat and the bulb by a certain distance. A top end of the base seat is formed with a through hole in which a container is fitted. The container contains a liquid inside, which is dyed into a predetermined color and mixed with a plurality of polished plates. In use, the bulb radiates light and heat to the container to stir up the liquid, so that the polished plates are rolled to reflect the light and create a dynamic flickering effect.

    Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for displaying two-channel audio input signals in a three-color visual pattern. In general, the visual pattern may be formed on a viewing screen by an apparently moving spot having three color components. Phase shifting means is employed to phase shift one of the two audio input signals, and both audio input signals are subsequently processed by low pass filters to produce positioning signals in X-Y coordinates for the spot which forms the visual pattern. In addition, the two audio input signals are also mixed and separately processed by a high pass filter, a band pass filter and a low pass filter to produce frequency separated signals for controlling the intensity of each of three color components of the spot forming the visual pattern. Automatic color balance means utilizing negative feedback is employed to control the amplitude of the separate frequency-discriminated audio signals.

    Abstract: A lamp device includes a light emitting unit for emitting a light beam, a light filtering unit, first and second focusing lenses, and a total internal reflection unit. A damping fluid is received in the space, and a plurality of colored glass fragments are dispersed in the damping fluid. The light filtering unit is positioned adjacent the light emitting unit so that the light beam from the light emitting unit can pass through the flat glasses and the colored glass fragments. The first and second focusing lenses are spaced opposedly from one another. The first focusing lens is positioned adjacent the light filtering unit.
