Abstract: The chevron elements of a detector stage of a magnetic bubble memory are interconnected in a manner to allow tailoring of the output signals produced in response to the presence of an elongated bubble. The tailoring is shown to allow a design which is characterized by an improved signal-to-noise ratio.
