Abstract: A coffee processor having a grinder and a densifier is disclosed. The densifier comprises an elongated housing having a mixing chamber configured to receive ground coffee. The mixing chamber has an inlet end opposite a discharge end. The discharge end has a discharge door. The densifier has a mixing shaft driven by a mixing motor, the mixing shaft extending along a longitudinal length of the mixing chamber. The densifier has a plurality of pins fixed to the mixing shaft and configured to agitate a bed of coffee within the mixing chamber. An automatic coffee density control system is also disclosed. A controller is configured to signal a discharge door actuator to move the discharge door a predefined distance to increase or decrease the mixer motor load when the mixer motor load sensor reports a mixer motor load value that is outside a predefined mixer motor load operating range or setpoint.

Abstract: A releasable coupling, including a first and a second coupling part for transmitting torque, where the first coupling part has a projection which extends in the direction of the geometrical axis of rotation and in the circumferential surface of which a first peripheral groove is embedded, that the second coupling part has a recess which is matched in cross section to a receptacle on the projection and in the circumferential surface of which a second peripheral groove is embedded, that an annular securing element is provided, the securing element being elastically deformable with respect to the contour of its open or closed periphery and, in the separated state of the two coupling parts, being insertable into one or optionally into one of the peripheral grooves and the contour of which, in the separated state of the two coupling parts, projecting out of the peripheral groove.
Abstract: An agitator 1 has a vessel 4 provided between an upper powder/particulate material supplier 2 and a lower powder/particulate material discharger 3 to hold therein powder/particulate material to be stirred. The agitator 1 also has a stirrer 7 provided in the vessel 4 to have a stirrer rotating shaft 5 arranged in a horizontal direction and main paddles 6 fastened to the rotating shaft 5, and a multi-feeder 8 provided in the powder/particulate material discharger 3 to have both forward rotation and reverse rotation. The multi-feeder 8 has a discharger rotating shaft 81 and small-size auxiliary paddles 9 integrally rotated with the rotating shaft 81 and designed to be smaller in size than the main paddles 6.
Abstract: A process employing a wet mixer having a vertical mixing chamber for forming a wet slurry of a cementitious powder and liquid. The vertical mixing chamber is designed to provide the required amount of mixing to provide thoroughly mixed, uniformly thin slurry within a mixing residence time that allows for adequate supply of slurry to ensure continuous operation of an associated cement panel production line. Gravity feed for supply of cementitious powder and water to the slurry mixing area of the chamber is also disclosed.

Abstract: An apparatus for filling a screw (7) bearingly supported within a housing (6), in particular of an extruder, for processing of pre-comminuted synthetic plastics material, in particular PET, has a filling opening (5) for the screw housing (6). This filling opening (5) is in flow connection with the lower outflow opening (4) of an upright receptacle 81) for the material to be processed. Within the receptacle (1), tools (30, 31) circulate around a preferably vertical axis, and they act on the material positioned within the receptacle (1). This material is introduced into the evacuable receptacle (1) through a sluice (60). A quickly circulating tool (30) for creating a mixing cone (71) is disposed between an upper interior portion (68) and a lower interior portion (69) of the receptacle (1).
