Abstract: The winding device includes a solar pinion mounted for free rotation in a coaxial manner about a central arbor on a winding wheel. The device also includes toothed planetary wheels for meshing with a toothing of the solar pinion. The planetary wheels are mounted for free rotation with play about a respective offset arbor fixed to the winding wheel. The device also includes one or two hooks of a frame fixedly mounted on the winding wheel. In a first direction of rotation of the solar pinion, a planetary wheel is in a locking position in contact with a hook in order to drive the winding wheel. In a second direction of rotation opposite to the first direction of rotation, the planetary wheel is uncoupled so that the rotation of the solar pinion does not drive the winding wheel.

  • Patent number: 6910802
Abstract: Automatic watches use the movements of the wrist to re-wind the barrel spring and thus supply the necessary energy for the correct functioning of the watch. When the user cannot wear the watch it is proposed to place it on an automatic re-winding device. The device according to the invention is compact and modular. Furthermore, in order to avoid any error of manipulation, the starting and stopping of the re-winding device is done automatically by means of a detection of the presence of the watch (3). The passing of the strap in the detachable base (2) produces the tension of the device.

  • Patent number: 6886975
Abstract: To provide a watch in which, in case where a screw lock function has decreased, a part exchange around a crown is made possible while ensuring a waterproofness. To an outside winding stem pipe having a bridge portion and brazed to a case band there is passed an inside winding stem pipe having a male screw portion directed to an outside of the case band and a convex portion colliding against the bridge portion so as to be capable of being put in or out, the pipe is locked to the pipe by a lock means provided over both of the winging stem pipes, and the pipe is interposed between an attaching ring detachably meshing with the pipe and the convex portion, thereby positioning the pipe with respect to the former pipe in an axial direction. A crown is detachably meshed with the male screw portion of the pipe.

Abstract: An electronic module for regulation of a watch movement with mechanical winding includes a generator (1) permitting converting the mechanical energy supplied by the mechanical watch movement into a measuring signal (G+;G−) and an electronic circuit (11) supplied by the generator. The electronic circuit includes an energy dissipation circuit (9) permitting applying at least two separate braking couples more than zero to the generator (1). The electronic circuit (11) also includes a counter to control the braking circuit. The braking couple selected by the control circuit depends on the advance of the generator and is reduced, without being suppressed, when the measuring signal (G+;G−) passes through an extreme.

  • Patent number: 6411567
Abstract: A system for managing delivery of pharmaceutical drugs is formed of a blister package that includes a plurality of cells arranged in a grid. Each of the cells is sealed by a breakable wall and holds a unit-dose of medication. A user gains access to the medication in a given cell by puncturing the breakable wall associated with the given cell. A severable conductor is positioned proximate to each breakable wall. The severable conductor associated with a given cell ruptures upon puncturing of the breakable wall associated with the given cell. A computer chip is electrically connected to the severable conductors. The computer chip senses the puncturing of each cell in the grid by monitoring the rupturing of each of the severable conductors. An RF transmitter is coupled to the computer chip. The RF transmitter sends information corresponding to usage of each of medications stored in the blister package to a remote information transceiver.
