Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for displaying an emoji reply, a terminal device, and a server. The method includes: popping up an emoji box quickly in response to an operation performed by a user on a target chat message on a chat interface to pop up the emoji box, sending an emoji selected by the user from the emoji box to a server directly as an emoji reply; and displaying the emoji entered by the user and a user label on the target chat message in accordance with instruction information returned by the server.

Abstract: An embedded computing device which receives and buffers one or more digital audio streams provided by wired or wireless devices such as computers, tablets and smart phones via a network. The streams are buffered to allow for delays and irregularities in the rate at which these streams are delivered. The streams are then distributed to a series of digital amplifiers while allowing each amplifier to play a chosen source at a volume level that is selected by a user. This embodiment reduces the number of required electronic components, delivers high quality audio because the system is entirely digital from source through amplification, and is energy efficient thereby minimizing the generation of waste heat. In addition, the invention allows for features such as limiting the volume for certain users, or for certain zones during specified periods of time, as well as features to diagnose and/or compensate for installation errors or problems.

The venue has one or more venue controllers communicatively coupled to the server system. The mobile devices are remotely located from the server system. The server system transmits a listing of the plurality of audio data sets to the associated mobile devices and receives selections of one or more of the plurality of audio data sets to be played at the venue.

Two or more actuators are moveable independently over at least a first recording surface of the one or more disks. A first actuator of the two or more actuators comprises a first write head and a first read head. A second actuator of the two or more actuators comprises at least a second read head and may include a second write head. A controller is coupled to the two or more actuators and configured to write data to a track on the first recording surface using the first write head, and perform a read operation on the data written to the track using the second read head. The controller is also configured to verify that the data was successfully written to the track in response to the read operation. The read operation can be performed within less than one revolution of the first recording surface after the write operation.

The verify processing and the compare processing are performed at one time reproduction. To perform the verify processing and the compare processing simultaneously, a recording quality storage part is provided in the recording/reproducing device, and reproduced data is transmitted to a host controller while storing quality information at the time of reproduction by an instruction of the host controller. The host controller performs the compare processing by comparing transmitted data and data at the time of recording and inspects the recording quality by acquiring the quality information of a reproduced area from the recording/reproducing device at intervals set in advance.

In the method, when a host requests data of an optical disc inserted into an optical disc drive (ODD) included in a device to be integrated with a solid state drive (SSD), an address of the requested data is compared with contents contained in defect management information managed within the SSD, and the requested data is read from the optical disc or from the defect management information according to a result of the comparing. The defect management information may include optical disc identification information, address information, defect type information and data of a corresponding address. When the optical disc is inserted into the ODD, defect management information regarding the optical disc may be generated and stored in the SSD. Accordingly, Read Delay or Read Fail, resulting from a defect of the optical disc, can be obviated.

A lifespan module calculates a mount-to-dismount lifespan for each cluster from the smoothed system factors. A selection module selects a source cluster for accessing an instance of a specified volume in response to the mount-to-dismount lifespans and a user policy.

Abstract: A system and method of pre-buffering media files may be employed to improve the initial playback performance of a media file. In accordance with one aspect, a media player application may present a list of media files for playback. Based on a location and/or movement of an input focus device, the media player may pre-buffer those media files located within a proximity of the input focus device. A pre-buffered media file may be selected for playback by the media player application.
