Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a blade preferable for being mounted on various kinds of work machines, particularly work machines for digging, carrying of soil and leveling, in which increase in a quantity of soil per tractional force is achieved with a simple structure to reduce consumption horsepower and increase fuel consumption efficiency thereby leading to low cost. A blade comprises a central front face section having a linear first cutting edge at a bottom end thereof, a jointed front face section having a second cutting edge which continues from the first cutting edge and extends backward in an expanding manner at a predetermined angle, and an end front face section having a third cutting edge which continues from the second cutting edge and extended forward in an expanding manner at a predetermined angle.
Abstract: An improved snow plow blade is disclosed which has a fixed upper plow blade and a pivoting lower trip blade mounted on the swing frame of the snow plow with the axis of rotation of the trip blade being directly in line with the swing frame and the support frame of the snow plow. Since the axis of rotation of the trip edge blade is located at the height of the vertical center of the swing frame (and is thereby in the same horizontal plane), the forces imparted to the swing frame will be essentially compressive in nature rather than including a torsional element as well. The trip edge blade and the trip edge springs used to bias the trip edge blade into an untripped position are substantially supported by the swing frame of the snow plow rather than being supported from the upper plow blade. The trip edge blade is also sufficiently high to prevent damage to the upper snow plow blade due to impacts with curbs or other high obstacles.

Two chains of equal length are fixed to opposite ends of the leveling system, each at an equal distance outward from the center of the system and each connected at its other end to the lifting member of the vehicle. The chains aid in the lifting and leveling of the system.
Abstract: A blade attachment for an off-road vehicle such as an ATV is provided. A mounting frame is pivotally connected at its rearward end to the ATV rearwardly of the forward end thereof. A hinge plate is pivotally mounted, about a vertical axis, to the forward end of the mounting frame and has the blade of this invention mounted thereon to enable the blade to be pivoted left, right, or positioned in a straight position. The blade is locked in its various positions by a blade position lever. The blade position lever is automatically moved to its unlocked position when the blade is moved upwardly to a predetermined position and is automatically moved towards its locked position when the blade is moved downwardly to a predetermined height. A winch is operatively connected, in a slip clutch fashion, to the hinge plate to enable the blade to be pivotally moved, about a vertical axis, between its various angular positions, when the blade position lever is in its unlocked position.
Abstract: A blade preferably adopted to work machines for digging, carrying of soil and leveling, which achieves an increase in a quantity of soil per tractional force with a simple structure to reduce consumption horsepower and increase fuel consumption efficiency thereby leading to low cost, has a central front face section (12) having a linear first cutting edge (15) at a bottom end thereof, a jointed front face section (13) having a second cutting edge (16) which continues from the first cutting edge (15) and extends backward at a predetermined angle, and an end front face section (14) having a third cutting edge (17) which continues from the second cutting edge (16) and extended forward at a predetermined angle.
Abstract: The invention alleviates wear on a plow moldboard by achieving a reduction in the effective weight of the moldboard on the roadway. One or more elastic links are interposed between the moldboard and the lifting arm which elevates and lowers the moldboard. The elastic links may be tensioned to such a degree that they serve as a counterweight for the moldboard, transmitting all or most of its weight to the lift arm and the plowing vehicle. The effective weight of the moldboard is thus reduced to such a degree that the lower edge of the moldboard bears against the roadway with little or no force, and it skids or slides along the roadway rather than grinding against it.
