Abstract: Information processing systems including a plurality of integrated circuit chips have had problems such as an increased cost due to an increase in the number of terminals related to settings of an interface between the chips and delayed program transfer. An information processing system is provided in which a plurality of integrated circuit chips each include a plurality of communication units to be initialized by a common setting terminal. A processing execution unit of a first integrated circuit chip set to a first mode starts establishing a communication connection through one of the initialized communication units to one of the communication units of a second integrated circuit chip set to a second mode.

Abstract: A hot-desking system includes a hot-desking station, including a hot-desking station device, and a hot-desking panel configured to display information regarding status of the hot-desking station and a 2D code associated with the hot-desking station. A docking station associated with the at least one hot-desking station includes input and output ports connected to the hot-desking station device. A hot-desking portal controls operation of and configuration of the hot-desking station, the docking station, and the hot-desking panel.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect that a first subscription, of a plurality of subscriptions associated with the UE, is associated with an active service on a first cellular network. The UE may search, for a second subscription of the plurality of subscriptions, for radio access technologies (RATs) and frequency bands that are compatible with a dual active mode of the UE. In some aspects, the UE may detect that the active service on the first cellular network has ended. Accordingly, the UE may search, for the second subscription, for RATs and frequency bands that are compatible with the dual active mode of the UE and for RATs and frequency bands that are incompatible with the dual active mode, before expiry of a timer associated with a power saving state. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for an automated calling system are disclosed. Some implementations are directed to using a bot to initiate telephone calls and conduct telephone conversations with a user. The bot may be interrupted while providing synthesized speech during the telephone call. The interruption can be classified into one of multiple disparate interruption types, and the bot can react to the interruption based on the interruption type. Some implementations are directed to determining that a first user is placed on hold by a second user during a telephone conversation, and maintaining the telephone call in an active state in response to determining the first user hung up the telephone call. The first user can be notified when the second user rejoins the call, and a bot associated with the first user can notify the first user that the second user has rejoined the telephone call.

Abstract: Video-assisted presence detection is used to enhance a user experience in telephony communications. Image data, video data, or both, from a camera are used to determine whether a user is present at their device before a call is transferred to him or her. The video-assisted presence detection can be implemented based on a privacy setting. For example, one implementation allows a system to have partial access to a detector to detect user presence without capturing facial information, and without identifying that person. Another implementation allows the system to have partial access to the detector to detect user presence without having access to a video feed of the detector.

Abstract: A method comprises receiving an add instruction to add a new account to a subscriber database at the system, wherein the add instruction indicates a line identifier and a first source identifier, wherein the line identifier identifies a line activated by the new account, wherein a first source identifier identifies a first carrier billing system from which the request to add the new account is received, when an existing account indexed by the line identifier is present at the subscriber database, deleting, by the provisioning application, the existing account from the subscriber database, and adding, by the provisioning application, the new account associated with the line identifier at the subscriber database, wherein the new account indicates the first source identifier.

Abstract: A redirection and messaging system receives telephony information identifying a caller and call context from a telephony system. The system selects one of a plurality of messaging operators based on the call context, optionally sends an introductory message to the caller via a messaging service, and generates a message interface for the selected message operator. The message interface includes the caller and call context and any messages sent between the caller and the selected message operator, with an input interface allowing the selected message operator to input and send messages to the caller.

A relay apparatus (1) includes a reception unit (2), a generation unit (4), and a transmission unit (6). The reception unit (2) receives, from the private branch exchange, incoming call notification information indicating an incoming call notification, which is a notification indicating that the incoming call is made to the extension representative number. The generation unit (4) generates a push notification request corresponding to the incoming call notification for each of a plurality of mobile terminals belonging to the group of the extension representative number based on the incoming call notification information. The transmission unit (6) performs processing for transmitting the push notification request to the corresponding mobile terminal.

A workspace personalization management system receives the badge data, locates an organization associated with the badge data, and transmits the badge data to its associated organization. A server associated with the organization receives the badge data, locates a member of the organization who is associated with the badge data, and transmits the workspace configuration associated with the member to the workspace personalization management system. The workspace personalization management system transmits a keyable code to a messaging service device of the member and transmits the keyable code and the workspace configuration associated with the member to the local workspace access system. The local workspace access system receives member input of the keyable code, and verifies that the inputted keyable code matches the keyable code received from the workspace personalization management system.

Abstract: Presented herein are techniques to facilitate infrastructure and policy orchestration in a shared workspace network environment. In one example, a method may include obtaining, by a service broker, a reservation request from a consumer network for a consumer, wherein the reservation request seeks a reservation to reserve, at least in part, at least one workspace device for the consumer for a workspace for a particular day and a particular time period; based on determining that the at least one workspace device is available, providing a response to the consumer network that includes a first indicator for identifying the reservation of the workspace and at least one second indicator identifying the at least one workspace device; and upon receiving a session request from the consumer network that includes the second indicator, establishing a management tunnel to interconnect the consumer network and the at least one workspace device via the service broker.

According to a specific example, a server is provided comprising one or more computer processor circuits configured to interface with a remotely-situated client entity using a first programming language. The server includes a call control engine that is configured to provide a private branch exchange (PBX) for the client entity, and identify a call control template written in a second programming language. The call control engine is further configured to control call routing by the PBX, by executing the call control template to identify at least one data source that corresponds to a call property for the VoIP telephone call, retrieve data from the data source, and implement one or more call processing functions specified by the call control template as being conditional upon the retrieved data.

Abstract: Systems and Methods for telecommunication expense management are provided. A distributed platform including a user support site, multiple user databases and customized user applications is provided to enable organizations to better manage their telecommunication services and expenses. In an embodiment, a method for electronically processing telecommunication invoices includes importing the telecommunication invoices, extracting elements from the imported invoices and performing reasonability tests on the imported invoices. The reasonability test includes conducting an automated comparison against established criteria that may be customized by users. The method includes generating one or more interactive reports that enable an organization to effectively manage its telecommunication services.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for manipulating a communication acceptance screen, manipulating an interactive communication acceptance icon, and restricting access to accounts based on voice communication parameters. In particular, when a communication is detected from one device to another device, that communication may be risky. Thus, the risk is mitigated by giving a user information about the source of the communication to give a user a chance to reject the communication. In addition, in instances where the user accepts the communication, the system enables monitoring the communication and restricting any accounts that are disclosed within the communication.

Abstract: A technique is described herein for capturing signals that indicate when any calling BOT delegates control to a called BOT, or when a calling BOT is preconfigured to contact a called BOT (e.g., as conveyed by a manifest file associated with the calling BOT). The technique can leverage these signals to facilitate the selection of BOTs. For example, the technique can use the signals to improve searches performed by a search engine and/or recommendation engine. The technique can also use the signals to generate metadata items that describe the properties of the available BOTs.

Abstract: A method for a seamless transfer of a secure multimedia conference session from one endpoint device to another without a need to rekey the session is provided. In this method, a first endpoint device connects a participant to a multimedia conference session to which at least one other participant is connected and based on detecting one or more second endpoint devices within a predetermined location proximity of the first endpoint device, determines whether to transfer the multimedia conference session to a target endpoint device. Based on determining that the session is to be transferred, the first endpoint device establishes a secure pairing connection directly with the target endpoint device and provides, via the secure pairing connection, information about the multimedia conference session based on which the multimedia conference session is transferred to the target endpoint device without rekeying the multimedia conference session.

Abstract: A method of providing prioritized call route lists to network elements of communication service carriers. The method comprises building prioritized route lists by a centralized routing function (CRF) platform by processing prioritized route list transactions built by a route generation application based on key performance indicators, receiving a request for a prioritized route list by the CRF platform from a session border controller (SBC) controlled by the first communication service carrier, where the request comprises an identity of a second communication service carrier and a destination telephone number, determining a subscriber service level associated with the second communication service carrier by the CRF platform, based on the determined subscriber service level, looking up a prioritized route list by the CRF platform based on the destination telephone number, and sending the looked up prioritized route list by the CRF platform to the SBC.

Abstract: Voice and video features of a software platform are integrated to enable customization of software services of the software platform on a customer-basis. Routing rules are defined to route calls to certain phone numbers from certain software services. Thereafter, when an outbound call is initiated by a software service, the call is received via a telephony system associated with the software platform, a routing rule customized for the software platform is identified based on information signaled with the call, such as an identifier associated with the software service. A phone number is determined based on the routing rule, and the outbound call reporting the determined phone number is delivered to a destination phone number.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the disclosure are directed to template-based management of telecommunications services. According to a specific example, a server is provided comprising one or more computer processor circuits configured to interface with a remotely-situated client entity using a first programming language. A user control for searching the call agents may also be presented on the display for use by a first call agent to view an indication of availability for a particular call agent. The customer call may then be transferred from the first call agent to the particular call agent in response to the indication of availability identifying the particular call agent as available.

The second device sends the decoded data to a server that is communicatively connected to the first device and the second device. Upon receiving the decoded data and using the unique identifier, the server communicates with the first device to verify the arbitrary security code.

In some embodiments, a VoIP switch might receive a call request for connection between a calling party at a calling telephone number (“TN”) and a called party at a called TN. Based on a determination that connection via a session border controller (“SBC”) between the VoIP switch and an Internet Protocol (“IP”) gateway has been lost, the VoIP switch might route the call request to a PSTN redirect TN through the PSTN. One of the Class 5 switch of the PSTN or the IP gateway might replace the redirect TN with the called TN, based on a determination that the redirect TN represents a PSTN failover. The IP gateway may then route the call request to an IP PBX for terminating (establishing) the call connection between calling party and called party, without interception by an operator, receptionizt, or auto attendant.
