Abstract: Novel tools and techniques for providing an in-line AI virtual assistant are provided. A system includes a session border controller coupled to an end-user device, and a session initiation protocol stack. The session initiation protocol stack includes a processor, and non-transitory computer readable media comprising instructions executable by the processor to: receive, from the session border controller, a call invite request; provision, via the AI virtual assistant service, an AI virtual assistant instance in response to the call invite request; and join the AI virtual assistant instance to a call with the end-user device.

A method includes receiving, by a processing circuit, a speech input for filling out a field of an electronic form; determining, by the processing circuit, an irregularity in the speech input; refining, by the processing circuit, the speech input based on the determined irregularity; converting, by the processing circuit, the refined speech input into text; and providing, by the processing circuit, the text to a user device to populate the field with the text.

Abstract: Apparatus for constructing a digital telephone message including a message defining unit, configured for allowing a sender to define a message for sending to a recipient, and a response defining unit, configured for allowing the sender to predefine a recipient response, and to include the predefined recipient response in the message for activation at the recipient. Apparatus for receiving a digital telephone message, the message including an activatable sender-defined response, the apparatus including a receiving unit for receiving the message, a notification unit for notifying a recipient of the arrival of the message, and a response activation unit for displaying the sender-defined response, and associating the sender-defined response with a user action for providing user input to send the response. Abstract: A text search query including one or more words may be received. An ASR index created for an audio recording may be searched over using the query to produce ASR search results including words, each word associated with a confidence score. For each of the words in the ASR search results associated with a confidence score below a threshold (and in some cases having one or more preceding words in the ASR index and one or more subsequent words in the ASR index), a phonetic representation of the audio recording may be searched for the word having the confidence score below the threshold, where it occurs in the audio recording, possibly after the one or more preceding words and in the audio recording before the one or more subsequent words, to produce phonetic search results. Search results may be returned include ASR and phonetic results.

A first user input is received selecting a first affordance of the plurality of affordances for a first contact of the plurality of contacts. In response to receiving the first user input and in accordance with a determination that a first communication application is in a set of communication applications installed on the portable electronic device, a contact information interface is displayed for the first contact. The contact information interface includes a first contact identification field for the first contact. The first contact identification field is associated with the first contact and the first communication application.

Abstract: A shared VM received from a telephone number is associated with a shared VM inbox that is accessible to a group of users including a first user and a second user. A request to assign a responsibility for the shared VM to the first user is received. Based on the request, a callback action usable to initiate a call to the telephone number is enabled for the first user, and the callback action is disabled for the second user and with respect to the shared VM. Based on an indication that the first user performed the callback action, a status associated with the shared VM is updated.

Abstract: A redirection and messaging system receives telephony information identifying a caller and call context from a telephony system. The system selects one of a plurality of messaging operators based on the call context, optionally sends an introductory message to the caller via a messaging service, and generates a message interface for the selected message operator. The message interface includes the caller and call context and any messages sent between the caller and the selected message operator, with an input interface allowing the selected message operator to input and send messages to the caller.

Abstract: The current invention describes a method and system for imposing a dynamic sentiment vector to an electronic message. In one embodiment of the invention, the method comprises of receiving a text input comprising message content from an electronic computing device associated with a user. The message content is further parsed and comprised in the text input for emotionally-charged language, assigned a sentiment value, based on the emotionally-charged language, from a dynamic sentiment value spectrum to the text input. Additionally, based on the sentiment value, imposing a sentiment vector, corresponding to the assigned sentiment value, to the text input, the imposed sentiment vector rendering a sensory effect on the message content designed to convey a corresponding sentiment.

Abstract: A method performed by a wireless device on a wireless network. The method includes sending an access request for an application. In response to sending the access request, the wireless device receives a visual voicemail message including authentication information. The wireless device can access and send the authentication information of the visual voicemail message to an authentication system. The wireless device is then authenticated to participate in a restricted activity or access restricted content in response to the sent authentication information.

Abstract: Techniques and architectures enable a wireless communications system to receive and deliver a message for which a user of a mobile device has specified which among multiple devices, all assigned the same phone number as one another, is to receive the message. The mobile device may be the sender or the receiver of the message. The message may be a scheduled message to be delivered on a particular date and time to a contact in an address book of the sender.

Abstract: Utilizing a voice capturing device (e.g., smart phone, tablet, smart speaker) to capture voice commands and send the voice commands to a cloud based voice recognition/processing engine to convert the commands to text commands. Processing the text commands at an access point for a WiFi network. The voice commands may include search queries about particular wireless devices that are associated with the WiFi network. The access point may search the configuration and connectivity data for the WiFi network to determine what access point the wireless device is connected to and a location for the access point. The result of the search may be announced to the user via the voice capturing device. The voice activated search may be to find wireless devices that have misplaced or for inventory management. The voice activated commands may also include voice WiFi network configuration commands.

Abstract: A system may include a server, which may receive a request from a customer device. The server may retrieve data records associated with the request from data sources. The server may process and present a standardized data record on analyst devices. The server may remove data gaps from the standardized data record, in response to receiving inputs from at least one analyst device. The server may generate and update status indicators on a user interface of each analyst device when any analyst device may operate on the standardized data record. The server may use a completed data record to generate a dynamic electronic document. The server may present the dynamic electronic document on a user interface of the customer device. The server may update values within the dynamic electronic document when there is a change in information within the data records.

The processor may be programmed to generate a user interface with a plurality of icons, each representative of a module. Abstract: A method of postponing an electronic message is performed at a computing device having one or more processors and memory. The memory stores one or more programs configured for execution by the one or more processors. The device displays a first electronic message for a user of the computing device and receives user input to postpone the first electronic message. In response to the user input, the device displays a plurality of postponement locations in a user interface window and receives user selection of a postponement location from the displayed plurality of postponement locations. The device then inhibits display of the first electronic message at the computing device. When it is subsequently determined that the computing device is at the first postponement location, the device redisplays the first electronic message.

Abstract: Systems and methods for actuating a Do Not Disturb (DND) feature of a playback device that is configured to play back alert notifications from a plurality of network-enabled devices include (i) a mobile device receiving input data representing a selection of the playback device; (ii) the mobile device receiving input data representing a selection of a DND time period; and (iii) responsive to receiving the input data representing the selections of the playback device and the DND time period, sending an instruction to the selected playback device that causes the selected playback device to enter a DND mode for the duration of the selected DND time period, during which the selected playback device is instructed to not play back alert notifications when the alert notifications are received from at least one network-enabled device of the plurality of network-enabled devices.

The processor may be configured to receive a first indication indicative of presence of a person arriving at a location associated with a scheduled service. The process may also be configured to determine whether the first indication corresponds to an expected arrival time of the scheduled service. Additionally, the processor may receive activity data in response to determining that the indication corresponds to the expected arrival time. Further, the processor may receive a second indication indicative that the person has completed the scheduled service. Further still, the processor may determine whether the scheduled service is completed based at least in part on the activity data. Even further, the processor may transmit a service confirmation to a computing device associated with a property owner of the location in response to determining that the scheduled service is completed.

Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for delivering audible alerts are described. In one aspect, an event for generating an audible alert for a user is detected. In response to detection of the event for generating for the audible alert, an audible interface device for delivery of the audible alert based on a location of a personal electronic device of the user is selected. It is determined whether a personal electronic device of another user is within a threshold distance of the selected audible interface device. In response to determining that the personal electronic device of another user is within the threshold distance of the selected audible interface device, an audible identifier associated with the user is determined. Alert instructions for the audible interface device are generated and sent to the audible interface device over a wireless network via a communication module.

Abstract: A question-and-answer application that displays topic-specific biographical information about users when presenting certain content elements is described. The topic-specific biographical information for a user may be displayed in various contexts, such as with an answer to a question on a question page for the question, or with information identifying a user who is following a question or a topic. With some embodiments, a user's topic-specific biographical information may be provided by the user, provided or suggested by another user, or obtained from an external data source.

Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for delivering audible alerts are described. In one aspect, an event for generating an audible alert for a user is detected. In response to detection of the event for generating the audible alert, it is determined whether an authorized audible interface device is within a threshold distance of the user based on a location of the user and a location of one or more authorized audible interface devices. In response to determining that an audible interface device is within the threshold distance of the user, alert instructions for the audible interface device are generated. The alert instructions cause the audible interface device to generate the audible alert in accordance with alert data provided in the alert instructions. The alert instructions are sent to the audible interface device over a wireless network via a communication module.

Abstract: A call assistant device is used to command a call management system to perform a specified task in association with a specified call. The call assistant device can be an Internet of Things (IoT) based device, which can include one or more buttons and connect to a communication network wirelessly. When a user activates the call assistant device, e.g., presses a button, the call assistant device sends a message to the call management system to perform a specified task. Upon receiving the message, the call management system executes the specified task in association with a specified call of the user. The task to be performed can be any task that can be performed in association with a call, e.g., generating a summary of the call, bookmarking a specified moment in the call, sending a panic alert to a particular user, or generating an action item.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a metadata log in a database recovery system include generating, at its primary system, a metadata log for a logging period. A change applied to a metadata object accessible from the primary system is detected, and upon detection, the system identifies a pair of a unique metadata identifier and a metadata type for the changed metadata object and determines a metadata structure of the changed metadata object. A data exchange object for the metadata structure is generated and a data exchange element from the data exchange object is created. The metadata log is updated with log information that includes the data exchange element and the pair, which is associated with the data exchange element. Upon the logging period ending, the metadata log is transmitted to a secondary system of the database recovery system for replaying. Abstract: Embodiments described herein generally relate to a method and system of integrating a user's voice mail onto a single voice messaging service, e.g., a Unified Messaging (UM) service, such that a client may access this single source for voice mail retrieval, even where such voice mails are from a variety of sources, e.g., work, mobile phone, etc. A user, or the user's mobile operator, need only agree to accept the service, and the registration and configuration requirements for providing the service and forwarding calls to the service are automatically configured. The user's existing “speed dial” key or other setting for retrieving voice mail may also be automatically configured to the access number(s) for the service. Configurations may monitor the status of the service and update access and/or forwarding numbers. Voice mail forwarding and settings may also be automatically reverted back to the user's original service.

Abstract: Disclosed is a voice message exchange system and method for improving communication between an inmate and a third party by enabling the inmate to leave a message when a call is not answered and further allowing the third party who receives the message to reply with a message to the inmate. Additionally, outside parties that meet the institution's requirements can leave messages for inmates at any time. The present invention can be used as an add-on to legacy inmate call management systems or incorporated internally into an inmate call management system. The system also provides monitoring, controlling, recording, and billing means.

Abstract: A method and system are provided. The method includes monitoring power usage and predicting power requirements for the at least two mobile devices. The method further includes identifying a device charging order and a power threshold of each of the at least two devices to meet the predicted power requirements of each of the at least two devices. The method also includes notifying a user regarding the device charging order and the power threshold of each of the at least two devices. At least the monitoring, identifying, and notifying steps are performed by a processor-enabled charging manager.

Abstract: A telephone marketing and messaging method includes dialing a telephone number associated with a prospect to establish a connection, and providing a conditional and automatically selected pre-recorded voicemail message of a series of voicemail messages to the prospect each time in response to arriving at a voicemail of the prospect, where each voicemail message of the series of voicemail messages is different. The voicemail messages continue to be delivered to the prospect until the prospect answers or responds. In addition, the method includes providing an email message to the prospect that correlates to a respective voicemail message delivered to the prospect.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment provides for a method for providing a mobile device-based community corrections supervision system. The method includes receiving an alert, from a remote server, via an enrollee's mobile device, to perform a check-in and receiving acknowledgement of the alert from the enrollee. Additionally, the method then requests the enrollee to recite displayed text and records the enrollee as the displayed text is recited.

The model may include a set of scores corresponding to the user's capability for carrying out tasks associated with responding to the unaddressed event, such as composing email or initiating a call. Additionally, reminder notification content may be generated based on information about availability and the unaddressed event, and used to provide notification(s). The notification content may include a recommendation to present a notification to the user at a future time determined likely to be convenient for the user to respond to the event or where the user likely will have capacity to respond appropriately.

In one aspect, an icon associated with an entity can be temporarily displayed on the mobile device based on the proximity of the mobile device to the entity. The icon can be used to retrieve and display information related to the entity. Additionally, the icon can be removed from the display on the mobile device when the mobile device is no longer within a certain proximity of the entity.

The method includes displaying a user interface on a display device of a client computing device, where the user interface includes first and second text entry fields within a collapsible text entry box. The method further includes receiving a first stream of characters into the first text entry field, initially displaying all characters of the first stream as the first text entry field receives the first stream, truncating the displayed characters of the first stream, resolving the truncated displayed characters of the first stream to a first object displayed within the collapsible text entry box, receiving a second stream of characters into the second text entry field, and further truncating the displayed characters of the first stream while receiving the second stream of characters into the second text entry field.

Abstract: A voicemail notification indicates a caller has recorded a voicemail. The voicemail notification may be sent to any destination, such as a caller's device. The voicemail notification may be displayed in a communication log to visually indicate that the voicemail was recorded. A different notification may be sent and displayed to indicate the recipient retrieved the voicemail.
