Abstract: Disclosed is a container for housing a diaphragm game call, comprising a case having a first member, a second member, and a line of connection therebetween, a fastening means for connecting the first and second members, and at least one moisture-retaining member disposed between the first and second members. The moisture-retaining member is preferably a sponge that can be soaked with an alcohol-free mouthwash, which helps to prevent the latex reed in the diaphragm game call from drying out and requiring replacement. The mouthwash also acts as a sanitizer to prevent the accumulation of germs and bacteria. A D-ring on the exterior of the case provides an attachment location for a lanyard, which allows a user to carry the device around his or her neck, or to remove the lanyard and carry the device in a pocket.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for pressing a shirt comprising a shirt buck having a front and a back and opposite lateral sides therebetween and adapted to hold at least the front and back of the shirt in an orientation for being pressed, drive means to laterally move the shire buck between a loading zone and a shirt finishing zone, and a pair of chests positioned adjacent to the shirt buck at the shirt finishing zone, the chests being movable in pressing contact with a shirt on the shirt buck.

Abstract: Two sheets of material are laminated together using a heat-activatable or moisture-curing adhesive by:(a) forming a layered composite of the material with a layer of the adhesive in between;(b) passing steam (preferably superheated) through one sheet of material into the adhesive layer;(c) compressing the heated composite before the adhesive sets;(d) releasing the pressure on the composite; and(e) allowing the adhesive to fully cure.A laminating machine is disclosed that pulls the composite between two open weave belts, past narrow jets of the steam.

Abstract: In a steam pressing station, a fabric piece to be pressed is drawn into a gap between a lower pressing member and an upper pressing member by a conveyor belt movably attached to the lower pressing member. A clamping device is fastened to the conveyor belt for clamping a leading edge of the fabric piece to the belt during an intake stroke thereof. A fabric seam threading device is mounted to the upper pressing member for automatically separating fabric edge strips during the intake stroke of the conveyor belt. The fabric seam threading device includes a separator sword flanked on opposite sides by a pair of seam guides movably mounted for rapid adjustment of the vertical position of the seam guides relative to a frame of the fabric seam threading device and simultaneous rapid adjustment of the separation between the two seams guides.

Abstract: An improved fusing machine is disclosed. Improved conveyor apparatus, conveyor belt guide apparatus, conveyor belt cleaning apparatus and oven apparatus are additionally disclosed, one or more of which can be utilized in a fusing machine. The preferred fusing machine is a return-to-operator machine in which feed and discharge conveyors for the oven are superposed, at least the upper conveyor preferably being transparent. The disclosed conveyor apparatus includes direction reversing apparatus, apparatus for adjusting the length of a conveyor and conveyor apparatus in which articles are resiliently engaged between and transported by opposed conveyor belt surfaces. A disclosed oven apparatus comprises resilient heating apparatus.

Abstract: An article of clothing carried on an upstanding planar form is continuously moved along a path which passes between a pair of upstanding pressing members mounted in closely spaced parallel relationship within a drying chamber. As the form enters the area between the pressing members, the members are separated by the form, against the action of springs urging the members towards each other. The opposing interior pressing surfaces of the members are each spring loaded into engagement with a different side of the article to smooth and press same as the form moves relative to the pressing members.

Abstract: There is disclosed a sewing machine and ironing device for sewing and ironing seams in which two ironing elements are disposed on opposite sides of the path followed by the seam as it issues from a region at which the sewing is completed, one of which is urged towards the other magnetically to apply ironing pressure to a seam disposed therebetween.
