Abstract: A garment with a speaker function is provided. The garment includes a garment body, a bag, and an electret speaker. The bag disposed on the garment body includes a sound-absorbing layer. The electret speaker, disposed in the bag, gives off sounds to a first direction and a second direction at the same time. The sound-absorbing layer absorbs the sound of the second direction. Therefore, the present invention not only provides convenience to the user, but also enhances the acoustic quality of the electret speaker.

Abstract: A personal sound delivery apparatus which can be worn by a person has speakers held close to the ears and does not include any insert into the auditory canal or any ear muff that could muffle or suppress other ambient sounds. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a wireless speaker is anchored by an arcuate hanger shaped and dimensioned to rest behind the ear. The speaker is positioned within a range from 0 to 20 centimeters (0 to 8 inches) from the auditory canal and may be surrounded by baffles that focus the incoming sound toward the entrance of the auditory canal. In other embodiments, a pair of speakers are embedded into the collar of a garment, a scapulary that rests upon the shoulders, a clamp that is bridging the nape of the neck, in pendants suspended from the neck, or hidden in a pair of earrings.

Abstract: A sound system for industrial tool chests modifies a tool chest with drawers to provide sound and music to technicians at work in a shop. The sound system has a power supply and electronics mounted in the vacant spaces within a tool chest. The power supply has ducting and a fan for cooling. Wiring delivers power from the power supply to the electronics and a player. The electronics include a dropping resistor and illuminated on-off switch. The player can play one or all of AM, FM, and other radio bands, broadcast or cable TV, video and other digital signals, and recorded media of many kinds. The player distributes a signal to two or more speakers mounted to the bottom of the tool chest, and alternatively in the top. The present invention installs within single chests and multiple story chests. Sound from the speakers reflects upon a shop floor to send music throughout the shop.

Abstract: The present invention provides for various embodiments of a combined garment and earphones. The combined garment and earphones includes a garment having a series of elongate internal passageways. Partially enclosed within the series of elongate internal passageways is a conductive wire assembly. The conductive wire assembly includes a first length of wire leading to at least one earpiece having a transducer for emitting audio into a user's ear, and a second length of wire leading to a connector configured to be communicatively coupled to an audio device. Finally, a retractable dial is coupled to the garment, wherein a portion of the conductive wire assembly travels through the retractable dial. The retractable dial is configured to selectively retract at least a portion of the first end of the conductive wire assembly.

Abstract: The present invention provides a belly pouch speaker system for delivering music to a pregnant belly for facilitating prenatal development. The system generally includes a pouch having a pair of speaker compartments, each having a corresponding speaker positioned therein. The pouch further includes a central compartment, disposed between the speaker compartments, for maintaining a music player therein and coupled to the speakers by audio speaker lines. A fastener cooperates with the pouch and is disposed such that the pouch may be maintained about the belly of the user by selectively adjusting the the fastener.

Abstract: To provide an electronic device whose manufacturing cost and weight can be reduced and whose sound quality can be prevented from deteriorating. Speakers 28 are provided on a rear side of a liquid crystal display part 20, inside a casing 12 so as to partly protrude downward from the liquid crystal display part 20, and sound guide ducts 24 linearly extend from a front face side of the speakers 28, and thus the sound guide ducts 24 are not bent. Therefore, even high-frequency sound generated from the speakers 28 can be outputted to an external part of the casing 12 without any sound quality deterioration. Abstract: A headgear assembly is provided with an integrated music or other sound player supportable therein. The headgear assembly includes a headband or cap with pouches therein for various portions of the music player. In particular, a left speaker pouch is provided for a left speaker, a right speaker pouch is provided for a right speaker and a player pouch is provided for a sound player. A wire harness is also provided to preferably removably attach the speakers to the sound player. The headband or cap with the pouches therein holds the player and speakers directly adjacent a head of the user, and with the speakers directly over ears of the user. The duct (7) has on the same plane one or a plurality of bent portions bent in substantially dogleg form and linear portions extending at both ends of the bent portion, the duct being disposed in parallel with the front surface of the speaker box. At least the longest linear portion of the linear portions is disposed tilted relative to wall surfaces except for the front and rear surfaces of the speaker box. It is thus possible to reduce the size, namely height, width and depth, of the speaker box incorporating the duct.

Abstract: A desktop computer which has a driver mounted in the back wall of the chassis. The chassis is acoustically a very leaky box, so the driver is designed as if it were a free-space driver (using large cone area and long throw). In one class of embodiments, a single driver is used, and is centered in the back of the box so that there is an equal left-right split, although not true stereo. The front of the box may be made more acoustically leaky to move the acoustic image forward. The treatment of the box as being acoustically leaky means that the airflow required for thermal management has not been restricted. The use of a long-throw driver permits the volume-velocity of the driver to be increased. Treatment of the box as very leaky also means that no user changes or custom configurations will significantly disturb the expected acoustic environment. An audio system incorporating a free-space driver with an equalizer designed for use with a free-space driver further improves acoustic quality.

Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide an acoustic vibration system with a speaker for air mattresses. This vibration system includes an air mattress (20) consisting of a sealed body and inflated with air. One or more speakers (30) are mounted on the sealed body of the mattress, and are connected to an external audio system (31). A coated layer is formed on the internal surface of the woven fabric (1) so as to prevent a flow of air through the fabric.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a speaker using lightweight, highly rigid diaphragm having excellent frequency characteristic and improving resistance to environment (including resistance to UV and resistance to fading). For this end, the speaker utilizes a cone-shaped diaphragm made from foamed or cellular resin such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin or polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) resin with 30 ?m average cell size. The use of such cone-shaped diaphragm is effective to improve sound quality of the speaker.
