It is capable of allowing the airtight engagement of the open free edge of a side wall in film form of a receptacle that is at least partially deformable. It is specially designed for the creation of a 3D container. The frame is also able to act as a support for at least one functional port or attachment port of a functional element. Its axial size is adequate for delimiting a space of a size that is at least equal to the axial dimension of the functional element, so that the latter can be completely housed within the inside space.

Abstract: A pouch includes first and second opposing pouch walls and a plurality of flow channel protuberances that defines a flow channel between the first and second pouch walls and is disposed on an inner surface of at least one of the first or second pouch walls. At least one of the plurality of protuberances includes a first component extending from the at least one of the first or second pouch walls and a second component extending at a non-zero angle from the first component. The flow channel extends between an opening of the pouch and a portion of an interior of the pouch that is spaced from the opening.

Abstract: A pill crusher pouch to be placed in a pill crusher apparatus, constructed of a tube of flexible material having an open top and a closed bottom, wherein the all or a portion of the top is angled or curved to facilitate easy pouring of pulverized material from the interior of the pouch. The bottom seal likewise may be angled or curved. The pouch may be seamless, or have one or more seams.

Abstract: A multi-panel sterilization assembly that includes a barrier panel formed of a permeable material, a fold protection panel, and at least one panel attachment means. The barrier panel has a first end and a second end opposite the first end such that the barrier panel has a length that is the distance from the first end to the second end and a midpoint along the length generally delineating the barrier panel into a content receiving region and a content covering region. Panel attachment means are located between the first end and the midpoint of the barrier panel at a pre-determined position to identify the content receiving region.

Abstract: A bag container including a synthetic-resin container body shaped by using a mold and including a spout-forming portion and a filling inlet portion that project outward therefrom. Contents are first filled through the filling inlet portion, and then fusion-bond sealing is applied to the filling inlet portion. A tip-end-side cross-section-changing portion and a cylindrical portion are provided on the tip-end side with respect to the sealing base portion. An opening tab piece including an engagement hole with which the ball of a finger is to engage is provided projecting on one side of the spout-forming portion. Abstract: A kitchen storage bag filling device including a resilient sheet of water-resistant material having an interior portion and an exterior portion, separated by a pre-scored arc. A user grips and squeezes the interior portion of the sheet to bend the sheet along the pre-scored arc, thereby creating a free-standing funnel-like structure. The interior portion is inserted into a plastic bag and the plastic bag is held open to increase the ease of filling the bag with liquid or solid material.

Abstract: A bag having both a support system and a closure system is provided. The closure system of the bag provides structural support to the bag. In at least one embodiment, the bag includes at least one sheet of flexible material assembled to form a semi-enclosed container, an opening within the semi-enclosed container defined by a generally circular periphery of the semi-enclosed container at an unenclosed end of the at least one sheet of flexible material, and a flexible support rim disposed around the generally circular periphery of the semi-enclosed container at an unenclosed end. Abstract: Disclosed is a method for replacing non-degradable plastic bags with better bags, such as bio-degradable plastic bags, paper bags, or, preferably, compostable bags. The method facilitates the use of better bags by using them as an advertising medium. Thus the method of coordinating third party advertising comprises (a) contacting a first party to manufacture at least one bag; (b) contacting a second party to receive the bag for consumer use; (c) contacting a third party to solicit advertising; (d) providing said advertising to first party by coordinating effective manufacturing machining; and (e) monitoring distribution of bags from first party to second party and then to consumers. The invention also provides a bag having third party advertising wherein advertising is distributed by a second party direct to consumers, and wherein the bag is manufactured by a first party using a machine plate with advertising from the third party, and wherein the bag is provided at substantially no cost to the second party.

The pouch front side member, the pouch backside member, the pouring-out nozzle front side member, and the bottom member are respectively formed of plastic film and heat-sealed to each other so that a pouring-out nozzle is formed in a branched manner from a top of a pouch body. In this pouch, two symmetrical nozzle reinforcing areas are formed on both sides of a first protrusion as a result of a provision of the first to fourth protrusions. As a result, the branch type standing pouch in which the pouring-out nozzle can be fixed upright at a time of opening is obtained.

Abstract: Example embodiments relate to a disposable piping bag, having a container of polymer film. The piping bag may be made essentially from a thin-walled polymer tube, and an outwardly oriented surface of the piping bag may be provided with a rough surface structure. The rough surface structure may have the form of a pattern of raised dots or grooves presenting a surface friction coefficient which may be higher than that of the polymer film.

Abstract: A rectangular cushion bag formed from a two-dimensional flat pouch, wherein select portions of the cushion bag comprise a differential rigidity to facilitate transforming the flat pouch into a box-like configuration. The differential rigidity may be created by compromising the bottom corners, strengthening portions of the sealed side edges, weakening portions of the sealed side edges, or any combination thereof. An automated method of creating the cushion bag is also disclosed. In use, the applying a downward force on the bag causes weaker portions of the bag to give way causing the two-dimensional flat pouch to open into a three-dimensional rectangular cushion bag.

Abstract: A combination product/napkin package is provided. A package includes a product wrapper and a finger wiping patch. The product wrapper comprises a sheet of flexible film that is foldable around the product and has edges sealable around a periphery to enclose and seal the product therein. The finger wiping patch is a textured surface of foaming ink absorbent resin, tacky resin, or a textured material applied to the wrapper at a position outside the sealed product.

Abstract: The pouch has a sealable mouth section, a side wall, and a sealed base. The material in the region of the side wall is oriented biaxially via blow molding of an injection-molded preform, and has an average wall thickness of at most 0.2 mm. The shape of the sealed base is intended to permit the article to stand upright without support.

Abstract: A bulk bag for dense materials includes side walls seamed together end-to-end to form a rectangular enclosure and at least a bottom wall secured to the lower ends of the side walls. Baffles are secured in the side wall seams and extend diagonally across the interior of the bulk bag to maintain the bulk bag in a rectangular cross-sectional configuration when filled with dense materials.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a stabilising device for stabilising an object having a plurality of support elements on a surface, particularly objects that are moved frequently such as garden furniture or the tables or restaurant terraces. The stabilising device comprises a plurality of fluid-containing compartments which are in fluid communication with each other by way of a restricted flow mechanism such that they are each variable in height in response to the amount of fluid contained therein and are located between the support elements and the surface. The stabilising device eliminates the requirement for using a valve to control the flow of fluid by using the restricted flow mechanism comprising a plurality of interconnected narrow-bore hoses.

Abstract: A packaging bag has a zipper including a pair of male member and a female member that are engageable with each other. The male member includes: a belt-shaped male base element provided on a packaging bag body; and a male engaging portion projecting from the belt-shaped male base element. The female member includes: a belt-shaped female base element located at a position opposed to the belt-shaped male base element; and a female engaging portion projecting from the belt-shaped female base element, the male engaging portion and the female engaging portion being disengageably engaged to form an engaging portion. The belt-shaped male base element and the belt-shaped female base element are made of a resin of which tensile modulus of elasticity is in a range of 700 MPa to 1600 MPa. The engaging portion is made of a resin of which tensile modulus of elasticity is in a range of 110 MPa to 560 MPa.

Abstract: A coated fabric includes a fabric from monoaxially drawn polymer tapes, in particular polyolefin or polyester tapes, preferably polypropylene or polyethylene terephthalate tapes. The fabric is coated with a sealing layer from a thermoplastic synthetic material the melting point of which is below the crystallite melting point of the fabric tape material. The coated fabric is excellently suitable for hot-air, ultrasonic, heated tool, infrared or laser beam welding.

Abstract: A grout bag (1) is provided having flexible side walls (2) a top (3) and a bottom (4) defining a cavity for receiving settable granular material or grout (5) and an inlet (6) for slurry to be introduced into the interior of the grout bag wherein the flexible side walls are adapted to retain solids within the grout bag. The bag may include a retention strip between the converging portions.

Abstract: An encapsulating bag for contamination control on gas cylinders employs a main body of fabric such as polyester or flouropolymer having a weave sufficiently tight to preclude contaminant transmission. A separation closure means such as a non-metal zipper is incorporated into the main body for opening the main body for insertion of the cylinder. A cuff is attached to a top circumference of the bag main body for close engagement of a top boss of the cylinder to preclude contaminant escape. An ESD button is incorporated in the body of the bag for attachment of a conducting lead for grounding connection.

Abstract: A reclosable vacuum storage bag that can be hermetically sealed by flat resealable means that extend across the full width of the bag. The flat resealable means are designed to provide a barrier to prevent ambient air from leaking into the evacuated interior volume of the bag. The storage bag is also provided with a plastic zipper. The flat resealable means can be arranged on the product side of the zipper, on the user side of the zipper, or in between two zippers installed in the storage bag.

Abstract: According to the present invention, there is provided a wasp repellent device comprising a suspension member operatively connected to a closed end of a nest mimic The nest mimic has a skirt extending from the closed end of the nest mimic to a mouth of the nest mimic, with a drawstring for contracting the mouth of the nest mimic to give the nest mimic the approximate shape of slightly tapered inverted cone. The exterior of the nest mimic is provided with irregular and uneven striated pattern and, in use, the nest mimic imitates the appearance of a natural wasp nest.

Abstract: A compactly packaged paint roller cover and a method of compactly packaging a paint roller cover are disclosed which require significantly reduced shipping and display shelf space volumes. A semi-rigid paint roller cover manufactured from a small diameter tubular knitted pile fabric is placed within a vacuum sealable plastic bag, which is subsequently evacuated and sealed, collapsing the semi-rigid paint roller cover to a flattened configuration. Such compactly packaged paint roller covers require significantly reduced shipping and display shelf space volumes. To use the compactly packaged paint roller cover, the vacuum sealed plastic bag is opened upon which the semi-rigid paint roller cover resiliently resumes its round cross-section.

Abstract: A bag retrieval assembly and bag, which facilitates the covering of a bale of cotton or other fibrous material, are discussed. The bag is configured to be used with the bag retrieval assembly, which is configured to manipulate the bag from a stacked or stored configuration to an open configuration that may be raised and held into a position for further processing.

Abstract: A bag that is made out of paper, recycled paper or paper-based material is designed in appropriate sizes and shapes to fit a variety of paper shredder machines in order to efficiently collect the paper shreddings which are output from such a machine so that the container and its contents can be directly placed into the paper-recycling stream without additional time and labor spent separating the paper contents from what currently is typically a plastic bag or rigid container. The inner bag has a bung at its top end for filling or discharge and a valve fitment (50) near the bottom for receiving a discharge valve. Tape tabs (34, 19) at upper ends of the inner bag and outer liner/bag attach to the top panel and/or stiffener panels to maintain the bags in an erect uncollapsed configuration. The stiffener panels prevent bulging of the inner bag and provide vertical support, but their lateral sides are spaced apart and form non-structural “floating corners” to maximize volume, minimize shock, vibration and abrasive forces on the inner bag, yet maintain impact and compression strength meeting international certification standards.
