Where corner drain ports are used, the bag can be arranged so that an interlayer bond parallel to the fold is parallel to a diagonal of a tote in which the bag sits and so that the interlayer bond is opposite the drain port to enhance bag evacuation. An additional optional feature of the invention is the inclusion of an integral filling conduit or snout on the top of the bag, a mouth of which acts as a fill port to ease filling of the bag. Junctures can be created in the interply region to guide its inflation.

If a single strip is used to secure the pad, the single strip has a sufficiently narrow width that the pad extends preferably beyond the strip on opposite sides of the intermediate portion. If two strips are used to secure the pad, each strip is disposed at a spacing to the other in extending over the pad. Thus, in either case at least part of the pad is exposed and uncovered by the strips of material.

The packaging container has at least one sealing multi-layer comprising a first water soluble film and an absorbent material. When the liquid leaks from the inner container while in the packaging container, the liquid passes through the water-soluble film. When the liquid contacts the absorbent material, the absorbent material absorbs and immobilizes the liquid material. This immobilization prevents the liquid from escaping from the packaging container. The present invention also includes a security feature, an apparatus to identify where or whom the liquid was obtained from and/or tests to be conducted, and/or the ability to extract the liquid from the absorbent material.

    Abstract: Each base for fusing a snap-zipper male member and a snap-zipper female member, which form a snap zipper, onto a bag body is formed from a mixture of polypropylene and an ethylene copolymer obtained by copolymerizing ethylene and an .alpha.-olefin having a carbon atom ratio of 3 to 20, in which the ethylene copolymer has a weight average molecular weight/number average molecular weight of less than 3, density in the range from 0.850 g/cm.sup.3 to 0.935 g/cm.sup.3, melt index in the range from 0.3 g/10 min. to 15 g/10 min., and range of number of branching dependent on molecular weight of 0-5 branches/1,000 carbon. A bag with the snap zipper is structured to fuse the snap zipper through the bases onto the bag body.

The product, solid particles mixed with a carrier liquid, is filled through the inlet valve (14) into the aseptic bag (1). The solid particles will then remain in the inner bag (3), while the liquid will continue through the perforations in the bag (3) and be separated through the outlet valve (22).
