Abstract: Compressible reclosable storage containers (e.g., pouches) having a one-way valve disposed along the bottom of the container. In one configuration, the reclosable pouch comprises a receptacle having a storage chamber and a mouth in communication with the storage chamber, and an airtight closure for closing the mouth. The receptacle comprises two walls made of thermoplastic web material, two side seals that include respective marginal portions of the two walls, and a vent that extends from one side seal to the other. The vent comprises a multiplicity of collapsible channels, each channel comprising a respective air inlet in flow communication with the storage chamber and a respective air outlet in flow communication with space external to the pouch. The channels may be formed by a series of zigzag or wave-shaped heat seals or heat seals have other shapes.

Abstract: A packaging container for at least two components to be mixed with each other has an outer container for a first component and at least one inner container for a second component arranged inside the outer container. The outer container and the inner container have container walls and at least one of the container walls is at least partially comprised of flexible plastic material. The inner container is openable by pressure application from the exterior of the outer container for mixing the first and second components within the packaging container. The outer container has an area provided for forming a removal opening. The inner container has outer dimensions that, when the outer container is opened, hinder the inner container from exiting to the exterior.

Abstract: A device for operating a non sterilized tool within a sterilized room without tampering with the sterilization of the room has a first bag and a second bag. The second bag is located within the first bag and its opening edges are overlapping the opening edges of the first bag. The overlapping edges are adhered to each other to define a hermetic space between the first and the second bags and to maintain opened the opening of the second bag, and that space is treated by means of one of sanitized, sterilized, disinfected or cleaned.

Abstract: Woven textile structures constructed using dual-loom technology are provided. Filaments are woven in such a way as to create a first set of different discrete layers of the same fabric in some regions of the textile and a second set of discrete layers of the same fabric at other regions of the same textile. The different layers are used to construct various textile structures such as a woven bag with woven channels containing at least one drawstring.

Abstract: An apparatus for carrying foldable footwear that comprises a drawstring pouch having a side pocket that reversibly adjusts between undrawn and drawn states. When undrawn, the pouch is characterized by an opening at the top of the pouch that is dimensioned and configured for receiving a pair of foldable shoes in an interior of the pouch. When drawn, the pouch is characterized by a drawstring arranged on the upper portion sealing off the opening, thereby concealing the interior of the pouch. The apparatus further comprises a collapsible tote bag removably inserted in the side pocket, where the tote bag is configured to reversibly convert between unfolded and folded states. When unfolded, the tote bag is characterized by an interior portion that receives a pair of unfolded shoes, where the interior portion further includes a storage pocket. When folded, the tote bag is completely contained within the second pocket.

Abstract: A pouch has a connection structure that includes a female connector and a male connector. The male connector of the pouch is configured to snap-fit with another female connector that has the same configuration as the female connector, and the female connector is configured to receive by snap-fit another male connector that has the same configuration as the male connector. A system of pouches can be provided the male and female connectors on a common backing panel. The connectors are also configured to allow the connected pouches to pivot relative to each other such that the pouches can be displayed in a fan-like arrangement, and accessories can be provided though passages in the connectors.

The inner package may include an integral burst pouch configured to release a liquid into an interior space of the outer package while keeping the interior space of the inner package dry. Each flexible package includes a frangible region located at or adjacent a top portion and at least one oral care item is disposed within an interior space of each flexible package.

Abstract: A package for an article (1) comprises a pressurised outer bag (5) having gas-tight seals (7) at opposite ends, and an inner web for supporting the article within the outer bag. The web extends along the length of the outer bag and is secured to the outer bag only at the gas-tight seals (7). The web is maintained under sufficient tension by the pressure within the outer bag to suspend the article within the bag and to maintain a space between the article and the outer bag on all sides of the article.

The plastic material is of a color and has embedded fragrance and antimicrobial agents, and has an imprinted design or pattern. The bag (10) is of a size suitable for receiving a single product, such as a used feminine hygiene product, along with any other material in the use or replacement of such product by a user, in which the tying portions (18) are tieable to seal said product within the bag. The purse insert fits within the insert, and the insert fits within the outer shell. The purse insert may be transferred into an alternate insert, placed in a purse shell or carried independently. The insert is transferrable between the outer shell and an alternate outer shell. Moreover, the purse insert fits within the purse shell and is transferrable from the insert to the purse shell.

Abstract: A modular pilot kneeboard system with detachable and interchangeable side pockets and accessories is herein disclosed. Each side edge of a main base plate is equipped with a zipper edge that allows add-on pieces, each with a mating zipper edge, to be zippered onto the main base plate and folded over like a conventional binder. Such side pieces are envisioned to provide pockets, straps, compartments and the like to hold additional items such as flight calculators, GPS systems flashlights, pens, and virtually any item a pilot may need quick access to during a flight. These items can attach by the aforementioned zippers, hook-and-loop fasteners, snaps, elastic bands, clips and the like.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a self-opening bag pack comprising a plurality of bags comprising or obtainable from a polymer composition comprising an effective amount of medium density polyethylene. Each of the bags may include a front wall, a rear wall, a bottom portion integrally connected with both the front wall and the rear wall, and a bag mouth opposed to the bottom portion, wherein the front and rear walls being integrally joined at their sides; and at least a portion of the outer surface of the front and rear walls of each of the bags having been surface-treated. The process of making the self-opening bag pack is also disclosed.

A first grommet and a second grommet each are located on the container shell and each include a perimeter that defines an aperture through the grommet. The second grommet including a magnetic or a ferromagnetic material. A first magnet is within the first grommet. The first grommet and the second grommet are positioned on the container shell to assist in closing the opening by magnetic attraction between the first magnet and the magnetic or ferromagnetic material, when the opening is closed the grommets are held in a position wherein the apertures are in general alignment.

Abstract: The present invention relates to triangular closed flexible sachets (100), and methods of manufacturing a triangular closed flexible sachet holding a substance comprises folding upon itself at least a single flexible sheet (200) to form a triangular interior space, filling the triangular interior space with the substance, welding the at least single folded sheet along a plurality of welding lines so as to capture the substance in said interior space, and sealing the closed flexible sachet (100). Information about the system of carriers may be accessed via at least one QR code associated with the system.

Abstract: The invention pertains to a protective cover for a backpack, the cover preventing unauthorized access to the backpack and its contents. Apertures and slots are formed in the protective cover to allow the straps on the backpack to pass through the cover, so that the protective cover and backpack can be retained on the shoulders of the user. A single, elongated zipper on the protective cover provides access to the interior thereof, and the end point of the zipper is hidden from view when resting upon the back of the user.

Abstract: The present invention provides a reclosable storage bag for packaging/containing and transporting objects, such as food. The reclosable storage bag may include a flexible inner liner contoured to the shape of a user's hand and have one or more closure members for sealing the ends of the bag. The user may store food in an interior storage area of the bag and may use the flexible inner liner to grab or hold onto the food so that the user will not have to directly touch the food while eating.

Abstract: A connector with a flexible arrangement for attaching one or more small or mid-sized bags is described. The connector provides a shoulder strap or handle that allows the user to conveniently carry the assemblage. The connector may include slotted top and bottom rails vertically displaced from each other, where mounting tabs on the small bags may be threaded through the slots to attach a bag to the connector. Slotted sheets of material may be placed between a top and bottom rail, or the entire connector may be made of one or more sheets of fabric or other flexible material. Again the mounting tabs may be threaded through the slots to secure the bags. The vertical edges of the sheets may be folded and sewn of bonded to better form supports for the connector, and combinations of rails, vertical supports and sheets of fabric of other such materials may be used.

The valve sections are mounted on an upper plate, and the stepper motor sections are mounted on a lower plate. A main radio frequency coil is selectively electrically coupled to each of the valves through a multiplexing switch.

Abstract: This invention relates to a composite bag for use in earth bag construction systems such as backfill pack systems in underground mines and a construction system using such bags. The composite bags each comprises a pair of long, narrow inner bags of woven polypropylene located longitudinally within and constrained along their length by an outer bag of woven polypropylene. In use, the composite bags are laid flat on top of one another on a working surface (for instance the footwall in an underground mine). The bags could be glued or otherwise attached to one another in this configuration. Tie elements, such as timber elongates, are threaded through aligned slits spaced apart along the length of the bags. The elongates are set against the hanging wall and a backfill slurry is pumped into the inner bags. As each inflating composite bag expands, the slurry water weeps from the bags which rise up the timber elongates during the pumping process.

Abstract: A device for assembling orders of food from prepared food items having multiple sides on different sides of the device is disclosed. Also disclosed is a system including the device and a method of assembling orders of food. Each side has a plurality of side receptacles accessible to a worker at the side. The fluid filled units comprise elongate, heat sealable, face and back layers that are jointed together at a side edge, and by transverse seals to form pouches. The pouches are filled with fluid and are sealed at a split edge, defining fluid filled units. The fluid filled units can be separated along transverse lines of weakness. The transverse lines of weakness are defined by perforations, including perforations nearest the split edge that are shorter in length than perforations that are spaced further from the split edge and extend toward the side edge.

Abstract: A cut hole type air lock valve is disposed in an air chamber formed by allowing two outer films to be adhered to each other by means of hot sealing. A part of rims of both inner films folded together are adhered to each other and several portions of rims thereof are formed to be air inlets in the cut hole type air lock valve. Furthermore, the air inlet is connected to an air passageway between the inner films, and at least one cut hole is disposed on the inner films beside the air passageway. When outside air flows into the air passageway via the air inlet and is filled in an air chamber via the cut holes, the air chamber is caused to fill with air and inflate, and air inside air chamber thrusts the inner films so as to block the air passageway to cause the air to be locked.

Abstract: A reusable packaging system includes a series of four bags, each designed to be reusable and capable of standing upright when in an open state. The bags are constructed so that they will fit in an open state within a shopping cart, and differ progressively in size so that they can be nested inside of each other for storage. Abstract: A combination of shopping bags designed to be used instead of plastic carrier bags. The set start off as several slightly smaller subsidiary bags being carried in one main larger bag. The smaller bags collapse flat and fit within the larger bag. The front and back and bottom of all the bags are quite rigid, being lined with semi rigid/rigid material. The side panels are flexible and fold into the bag enabling the bag to easily collapse flat by pushing the bottom semi rigid/rigid panel up. The semi rigid/rigid section secured in the bottom of the bags flips up to allow them to fold flat. On filling, the bottom drops down to give the bag a boxy rigidity. When the bags are collapsed flat, they require no reshaping and they slide easily into the larger bag ready for reuse.

The multifold plastic grocery bags may optionally be placed on a support core.

Abstract: An inflatable protective bag includes a housing sack, a gasbag, an inflation means, a check valve and a deflation valve. The gasbag is attached to an inner surface of the housing sack. The inflation means communicates with the gasbag through the check valve. The deflation valve is located on the gasbag. When the housing sack contains goods, air can be injected into the gasbag by the inflation means through the check valve to inflate the gasbag to provide resilient protection for the goods from being damaged. The air can be released from the gasbag by pushing the deflation valve to facilitate removing of the goods. Thus the inflatable protective bag can provide protection as desired.

Abstract: A portable, liquid-dispensing bag that has a bag within one or more bags. A fitment portal aligns openings in the one or more inner bags and outer the outer bag, which in at least one embodiment accommodates a tap. A variety of arrangements and variations are possible, including having a re-sealable opening in both the inner bag or bags and a re-sealable opening in the outer bag. A gas vent can be added to either the inner or outer bags. It is contemplated that a drinkable liquid is stored in an inner bag, and ice or cold water is stored in the outer bag to keep the drinking fluid cold.

A dispensing system is disclosed for continuously and detachably connected series of bags and in which the removal of a bag results in the subsequent bag in the series being at least partially opened.

Abstract: A protective cover for handbags and like objects is provided, which comprises a portable and self-contained storage pouch. The protective cover can be attached to the exterior of a handbag by various mechanisms and can comprise one or more carrying straps. The protective cover can be made from a durable, water resistant and germ resistant material capable of preventing dirt, moisture and harsh chemicals from reaching the handbag. This protective cover can also prevent germ contamination of the handbag or other surfaces by removing it from the handbag and washing it after use.
