Abstract: A convertible containment device includes a flexible base portion configured to substantially conform to a supporting surface when the device is in an open configuration, a wall affixed to a perimeter of the flexible base and extending away from the flexible base when the device is in the open configuration, and a cinch cord in operable relation with the wall, and forming a loop when the device is in the open configuration. The cinch cord is configured such that pulling the cinch cord causes the device to transform from the open configuration to a bag-like configuration by gathering the wall to form an annulus having an opening, and the opening of the annulus is sized to prohibit exit of an object from within the bag-like configuration.

Abstract: A satchel and wallet combination assembly includes a container that is flexible and includes a perimeter wall having an upper end open to access an interior of the container. The container may be manipulated into a folded condition wherein the container is folded multiple times upon itself and into a deployed condition wherein the container is unfolded. A wallet is attached to a front wall of the container such that a top edge of the wallet is positioned adjacent to the upper end and the first lateral edge of the container. The wallet is positionable in the container when the container is in the deployed condition. The container is abuttable against the wallet when the container is in the folded condition such that the container has a length and width substantially equal to a length and width of the wallet.

Abstract: A container has a sheet of one or more first flexible materials; a seam around a circumference of the sheet; a cinch tie enclosed within the seam and exposed at each of at least two notches in the seam on opposite sides of the sheet; and a barrier flap of a second flexible material secured to a first side of the sheet along a line that includes the center of the sheet, wherein the barrier flap is configured to divide an interior space of the container into a first compartment and a second compartment when the container is closed, and wherein the barrier flap is configured to be further secured at a location on the first side of the sheet proximal to the circumference; wherein the cinch tie is configured to close the container by drawing the seam shut when pulled out through the at least two notches.

Abstract: A multi-purpose folding bag system with a handle, having the form of a decorating element-keyring, consisting of the main body of cylindrical shape, at the one end of which there is a detachable head, which when detached, allows the net bag located in the storage place of the main body to unfold, and when it is then fitted to the other end of the main body, an anatomical handle is created for the easy and safe transport of the items placed into the net bag. Following its use, the net bag is repositioned within the storage place, whereas the detachable head is attached to the free end of the main body which again acquires the form of a decorative element-keyring.

Abstract: A hauling mat device for conveniently attaching to a hitch ball and hauling a load by dragging the device along the ground includes a sheet constructed of a resilient, flexible material having a pair of hitch holes extending through the sheet on each end edge of a pair of end edges of the sheet, wherein the pair of hitch holes are configured for receiving a hitch ball therethrough. The device is deployable in a first mode, wherein one of the hitch holes is hitched to the hitch ball and a load is placed on the sheet for hauling. The device is also deployable in a second mode, wherein both hitch holes are hitched to the hitch ball with the load placed in a loop defined by the sheet. In the first and second modes, the load is hauled by dragging the device along a ground surface.

Abstract: A system for providing shade onto a surface is described herein. The system includes a canopy configured for engagement with, and aerial suspension by, a frame. The frame includes a plurality of sections configured for end-to-end alignment from a left end to a right end of the frame. Each section is configured to engage with any adjacent sections to form the frame. The ends of the frame are secured to the surface, thereby aerially suspending the canopy and providing shade to the surface.

Abstract: A system for a dynamically orienting adjustable shelter is provided. The system generally comprises a base, lever arm, counterweight, boom, canopy, canopy supports, and support cables connected to said canopy supports. The boom and lever arm connect to the base in a way such that the boom may be in an upright position when a counterweight is placed on the lever arm. A canopy assembly may be rotatable attached boom in a way that allows it to rotate about said boom, which allows the canopy assembly to reduce the cross-sectional area of the canopy exposed to the wind. A cable may be attached to the front end of the canopy supports, which may prevent the back end of the canopy from tipping too far down when there is no wind that the system may use to stabilize the canopy by naturally reducing the cross-sectional area exposed thereto.

Abstract: Systems and methods for modifying control over a device in a vehicle are provided. The modification may comprise disabling an ability of a passenger to control the device via one or more passenger interface systems, limiting controls available to the passenger via the one or more passenger interface systems, transferring the ability to control the device to another user using a different user interface system, and/or transferring the ability to control certain functionalities of the device to another user using the different user interface system.

Abstract: Various implementations include a bag organizer system that includes at least one pocket disposed within a bag cavity and is coupled to a fixed surface within the bag cavity. The pocket includes at least one pocket side wall having a first edge and a second edge opposite the first edge along a longitudinal axis of the pocket. The first and second edges of the pocket side wall at least partially define an opening to a pocket cavity defined by the pocket side wall and a closed end of the pocket cavity, respectively. The pocket is expandable and collapsible, and the pocket is coupled to the fixed surface by a single seam extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the pocket, and the closed end of the pocket is not coupled to the fixed surface such that the pocket is hingedly coupled to the fixed surface via the single seam.

Abstract: A carry container is interchangeable between a closed position and an open position, wherein the container converts into a protective mat, such as a placemat, and becomes a barrier against germs. In one embodiment, the carry container includes an outer shell including a bottom panel and four side panels extending from the bottom panel and being configured to releasably attach to each of the two neighboring side panels using a fastener to form a container for carrying one or more items, such as food items. An inner lining formed by a generally square sheet is attached to an inner facing side of the outer shell and defines the protective mat when the outer shell is in an open position and flat on a surface. The container can be easily converted between the closed position (lunch box) and open position (protective mat).

Abstract: The present application generally relates to devices and methods for transporting, delivering, and storing items, and it more specifically relates to insulated carriers for use in transporting, delivering, and storing temperature controlled items such as perishable food and beverage items. Embodiments provide for insulated containers having an interior cavity surrounded by one or more panels having insulation wherein the containers are collapsible to allow for the efficient storage and transport of the containers while empty.

Abstract: A containment device that opens to form a mat or work surface that has a raised lip or edge structure that contains items on the mat or work surface. The containment device closes or converts from the mat configuration to create a bag or flexible container for holding the items inside, where the lip is gathered or compacted to form a passage. In some embodiments, the containment device may include a cord that runs inside the lip, which can be used to gather or compress the lip and change from the open mat configuration into an essentially or mostly closed bag configuration. In such embodiments, the cord may include a cord lock that may be adjustably deployed to clamp the cinch cord and the lip in a position that maintains the device in the bag configuration.

Abstract: A configurable multipurpose mat assembly is described. The configurable multipurpose mat assembly typically comprises a center area for receiving a baby, and two barriers on opposite sides of the center area for confining a baby there between. Variations of the configurable multipurpose mat assembly may include compressible or inflatable components that permit the mat assembly to be compressed or rolled without disassembly. In other variations, the configurable multipurpose mat assembly may include liquid impervious sheaths to provide a protective barrier between the components of the mat assembly and undesirable liquids.

In a closed state of the bag, the second housing is configured to face the first housing, to be opposed to the first housing. In an open state of the bag, the second housing is configured to extend away from the first housing. The bag includes a first changing pad portion configured to be stored within the first interior compartment and a second changing pad portion configured to be stored within the second interior compartment. Covers of the first and second changing pad portions are configured to be exposed in the open state of the bag and to be isolated from an external environment in the closed state. The first and second housings are joined at a bottom portion of the bag.

The blanket may be configured with optional features such as a pockets or nooks for the user's feet and hands. Various alternative designs are disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a field transport system that converts readily from a litter or stretcher to a gear bag for carrying loose items. The invention includes a base layer strengthened and supported by a frame that permits the use of litter poles. The invention also includes a novel zipper arrangement whereby the litter can be quickly folded and zipped into a bag having a drawstring closure at a top end thereof.

Abstract: A system and method converts a mat between a first position and a second position. A perimeter of the mat may be weighted to maintain the mat in the first position wherein the mat is substantially flat in the first position. A rope may be provided that extends around the perimeter of the mat. The rope may be pulled to move the mat into the second position wherein the mat forms a bag in the second position. A locking mechanism may slide in a first direction on the rope to secure an opening formed by the mat in the second position.

The internal flap is disposed within the interior cavity and includes a first end coupled to and extending away from the second end of the container such that the internal flap is coupled to a portion of the potty seat. The configuration of the container allows the potty seat to be conveniently carried and operated with minimal contact with the potty seat as well as the portion of the multifunctional container touching the surface of a toilet seat, thereby decreasing the risk of contact with bacteria or contaminants.

Abstract: The invention disclosed herein is a fastener which is embedded into a sturdy fabric. Once embedded into a sturdy fabric the fastener may be joined making a bag which can be used to contain items such as yard debris, sporting equipment, and many other items. In another embodiment, the fastener may be embedded into a strap and used to secure items to trailers, boats, and cars or to securely bundle items such as sticks, firewood, baseball bats, hockey sticks, tools and the like. The invention disclosed herein is composed of a fastener spring and a fastener spring receiver embedded into the opposite corners of a sturdy fabric. The fastener spring consist of a spring from which two lateral struts extend. At the end of the lateral struts, circular stops are attached. The fastener spring receiver is rectangular. The lateral struts of the fastener spring are compressed and the circular stops are inserted into the spring receiver.

The purse is formed of an elongated composite fabric structure having an inner sheet and an outer billowed sheet attached together to form, in one embodiment, a generally oval shaped body. A selectively closable pocket is sandwiched between the inner and outer sheets, wherein the pocket is accessible along one edge joining the inner and outer sheets, and wherein the sash may be folded into the pocket to convert the sash into the clutch purse. An alternative embodiment converts from the purse to a stole or scarf having free ends.

Abstract: A cover-type containing structure for flexible enclosures primarily includes a front cover sheet, a rear cover sheet and a flexible enclosure. The front cover sheet includes a first joining edge and a cover piece, whereas the rear cover sheet includes a cover assembly corresponding to the cover piece. The flexible enclosure includes a second joining edge and by engaging the first joining edge with the second joining edge, the front cover sheet and the flexible enclosure are fixed. Besides, the containing structure further includes a holding portion. Under a contained state, the holding portion is used to contain smaller objectives; whereas, in an unfolded state, in addition to using the flexible enclosure to contain larger objectives, the holding portion can be also used to contain smaller objectives. The present invention can be also applied to a piece of clothing combined with a bag unit or other flexible enclosure.

Abstract: An ovenable bag that is convertible into a baking sheet for baking a food product is provided. The ovenable bag may include a front panel, a rear panel, and a closure disposed on the front panel. The front panel and the rear panel define an interior chamber for holding the food product, and the closure is configured to allow the ovenable bag to be openable into the baking sheet. A related ovenable blank and method of forming an ovenable bag are also provided.

Abstract: A convertible device that is transformable from a storage bag to a marine signal flag by providing water permeable open mesh body of hollow material with stitched edges and an access opening. Rods on the interior of the body are attached to diagonally opposed corners. The rods disconnect to provide a bag form. The rods connect to provide a rigid brace between the diagonally opposed corners of the interior of the material to provide a flag form. Eyelets along a stitched edge of the material are used to attach the device to a flag pole.

Abstract: A reusable flexible sheet for wrapping an object is presented. The flexible sheet includes a center portion having a first side, a second side, a third side, and a fourth side, the first side being parallel to the third side and the second side being parallel to the fourth side. Flaps are connected to the first side and the third side, and bow portions are connected to the second side and the fourth side. The bow portions tie together to form a decorative bow.

The method of making the multifunctional organizer and the methods of using the multifunctional organizer are also provided. In one embodiment the main body of consists of a single piece of material providing for low cost construction.

The pouch can be directly attached to the article through an attachment, placing the pouch within close proximity, or coincident with a portion of the article. The pouch can be made from an elastic, flexible material. The pouch can be attached in an inverted state to an article. A user can place a portion of his hand in the pouch, compress the article with both hands, and then invert the pouch while encapsulating the compressed article in the pouch. The pouch can have a flap attached to the pouch. The flap can be used to close the opening of the pouch.

Cosmetic flaps are attached inside the flexible shipping bag below the sealing flaps. These invert and become visible when the flexible shipping bag is turned inside out. Once the flexible shipping bag is turned inside out, the zipper is positioned below the top edge of, and inside, the cosmetic bag and the cosmetic-flap bottom edge is positioned at the top of the cosmetic bag to provide a finished edge.

Abstract: Apparatuses convertible between at least a storage container in a first configuration and an activity mat in a second configuration. One apparatus includes a circular lid, a circular base, and at least one zipper pull that zips the lid and base to a wall. When zippered, the apparatus has a generally cylindrical shape. A carrying handle is provided on the lid. When unzippered, the apparatus becomes an activity mat and lies flat. Another apparatus includes two sides, a base, a flap, and at least one zipper pull that zips the sides to the flap. The sides resemble the outline of a car, such that the apparatus when zipped up resembles a car and when unzipped becomes an activity mat and lies flat. Backpack straps on the back allow the apparatus to be worn as a backpack.

Abstract: A tarpaulin is configured to include handles, cinch ropes and fasteners to facilitate its use in hauling landscaping plants and materials. The tarp itself is formed of any suitable material as in conventional use today, with the sheet further configured to include a pair of cinch ropes included along a first pair of opposing edges, and a plurality of fasteners disposed along the remaining, opposing pair of edges. A set of four handles are formed at the four corners. The cinch ropes allow for the first pair of edges to be gathered, while the fasteners mate the remaining pair of edges to form an enclosure.

The re-closable bag includes a flexible side panel, an opening on a top end of the bag, and at least two flexible finger sleeves connected to the side panel. The at least two flexible finger sleeves, when in a first position, are disposed between a first portion and a second portion of the side panel. Each finger sleeve in the two or more finger sleeves is adapted to accept at least a portion of a human finger. In some aspects, an object grasped using the finger sleeves can be retracted into the re-closable bag with integrated finger sleeves and stored within the bag.

Abstract: A flexible shipping bag, which after use for shipping an item in commerce, can be turned inside out and transformed into a re-usable backpack with an open top. The flexible shipping bag includes sealing flaps configured to enable opening the flexible shipping bag by cutting off a portion of the sealing-flap. The sealing-flaps fold into the flexible shipping bag when the flexible shipping bag is turned inside out revealing backpack flaps each configured to define a draw-string tube-like passage therethrough. The flexible shipping bag includes a drawstring and a tab extending from an inside edge of the shipping bag, preferably near the bottom, and configured to secure the drawstring. The inside of the shipping bag may also include a separate pouch. The top of the pouch may include means to close the pouch.
