    Abstract: An inflatable valve for an inflatable packaging cushion has first and second juxtaposed plys of thermoplastic material secured together by first and second spaced-apart heat sealed side seams to form a flattened tube having an interior sealing end positioned in an inflatable packaging cushion and an inflation probe insertion end positioned exteriorly of the inflatable packaging cushion. An adhesive strip is applied to the second ply and extends between the heat sealed side seams. Release paper covers the adhesive strip; wherein the release paper is removed and the first and second plys are pressed together, the adhesive strip seals the first and second plys together. Spot seals at the intersections of the heat sealed side seals and the adhesive strip sealingly join the side seals and the adhesive strip. The adhesive strip is provided by one side of a two-sided adhesive tape or as a layer of adhesive.

    Abstract: A structure of an air passage of a sealable bag is provided wherein bag sheets 11, 12 and a valve body sheet 31 layered between the bag sheets 11, 12 are used. The valve body sheet 31 comprises a front piece 31a and a rear piece 31b, and a air passing space is formed between the front bag sheet 11 and the front piece 31a, as well as between the rear bag sheet 12 and the rear piece 31b, while a dead-end space is formed between the front piece 31a and the rear piece 31b. In said valve body, at one side based on the direction of flow of air in the air passage 3, said dead-end space is closed by said front piece 31a and rear piece 31b that are joined together, while on the other side, said dead-end space is opened by said front piece 31a and the rear piece 31b that are separated from each other.

    Abstract: The invention provides for a sealing device for a valve bag. The sealing device has two sections separated by a perforated seam. Each section is secured to one side of the valve channel and has an adhesive surface covered by a protective sheet. The two sections are perforated by the filling tube when the valve bag is filled, once the valve bag is filled the protective sheet is cleaned and removed and the two sections of the sealing device are pressed together and secured by the interaction of their adhesive surfaces.

    Abstract: A dispenser for powdered, granular, pellet, briquette or tablet-like material is provided. The dispenser includes a dispenser head through which the material dissolved in water can be dispensed. A spray device is provided at the head to spray water onto the material provided in the dispenser head. A suspension device is provided to suspend a bag containing the material above the dispenser head. The bag in its suspended orientation has a fastener along the bottom end which closes the bottom end of the bag. The fastener is not, however, releasable until after the bag is mounted in the dispenser. Then the fastener is releasable to allow the contents thereof to fall by gravity onto the dispenser head. The dispenser provides a system, which normally avoids contact of the toxic contents of the bag with the user. At the same time, the only waste is in the form of a bag which may be made of recyclable plastic, hence minimizing waste associated with the system.

    Abstract: A valved bag consists of a collapsed section of a tubular plastic film, which has been formed in that the side portions of a plastic film web have been infolded to overlap each other and which has been provided with transverse top and bottom seam welds and in the overlap area of the side portions has been provided with two spaced apart parallel longitudinal seams, which join only said side portions and terminate or are interrupted at a distance from the top seam weld so as to provide a filling passage. In order to simplify the manufacture of the valved bags, the longitudinal seams consist of strips of adhesive and are in contact with both side portions of the film web at both edges of the overlap area. One of said side portions is provided with an adhesive bond-inhibiting agent adjacent to the filling passage at least across the strip of adhesive.
