Abstract: A gastight valve strip for a reclosable container. The valve strip includes opposing first and second film layers adapted to be disposed over a container aperture through a sidewall of the reclosable container. The first film layer is attached to the second film layer by a first thermal seal disposed around the periphery of the first film layer. An attachment surface of the second film layer is adapted to be sealed to the sidewall of the reclosable container. Opposing surfaces of the first and second film layers form a substantially gastight seal therebetween upon contact of the film layers. Offset first film layer and second film layer apertures extend through the first and second film layers, respectively, the first film layer aperture being in fluid communication with an exterior side of the valve strip and the second film layer aperture being configured to be in fluid communication with the container aperture.

  • Patent number: 7992601
Abstract: A cut hole type air lock valve is disposed in an air chamber formed by allowing two outer films to be adhered to each other by means of hot sealing. A part of rims of both inner films folded together are adhered to each other and several portions of rims thereof are formed to be air inlets in the cut hole type air lock valve. Furthermore, the air inlet is connected to an air passageway between the inner films, and at least one cut hole is disposed on the inner films beside the air passageway. When outside air flows into the air passageway via the air inlet and is filled in an air chamber via the cut holes, the air chamber is caused to fill with air and inflate, and air inside air chamber thrusts the inner films so as to block the air passageway to cause the air to be locked.

  • Publication number: 20090297068
Abstract: An inflatable pneumatic bag is disclosed. An inflatable pneumatic bag includes a pneumatic hole disposed at one end of a pneumatic channel. Air, which is applied to the pneumatic hole, moves along the pneumatic channel, then through air ingress holes covered with inner layers which are removed by the expansion of the outer layers to fill all the air tubes. When the air tube is filled with air, one or more inner layers cover and then close the air ingress hole to overcome reverse air flow. Then, a curve-shaped air passage in the air tube narrows to further prevent air escape. With the inner layer, effectively overcoming reverse air flow, and the air passage, further preventing air escape, the inflatable pneumatic bag filled with air may last for a substantial long period of time.

  • Patent number: 7482051
Abstract: A bubble wrapping sheet has a simple structure and can easily inflate all of the air bubbles to wrap a product to be protected. The air bubbles can be constructed by tube partition seals that create air tubes and by bubble partition seals that divide the air tubes into a plurality of series connected air bubbles. The shape and size of the tube partition seals and bubble partition seals can be modified to change the shape of air bubbles and the density of the air bubbles on the bubble wrapping sheet. A check valve for the bubble wrapping sheet is provided to each air tube. The check valve may be configured by an air flow maze portion having a zig-zag air passage and a common air duct portion which provides the air to the air flow maze portion of a current air tube as well as to the air flow maze portion of a next air tube.

  • Patent number: 6913803
Abstract: A one-way valve is formed by connecting a third layer of a polymeric film to one of two film layers that are sealed about the perimeter to form an inflatable member. A series of spaced seals connect the third layer so as to form a serpentine flow path across the inflatable member. The serpentine flow path communicates at one end with an inlet and at an opposite end with an outlet in communication with an interior of the inflatable member. Inflation pressure within the inflatable member forces together the adjacent film layers forming the one-way valve so as to maintain the inflatable member in an inflated state.

  • Publication number: 20020015541
Abstract: A sealed enclosure is provided with a valve at least part of which extends inside the enclosure and is formed between two flexible sheets extending between two opposed edges of the enclosure and being connected along two non-converging connection lines to define therebetween a duct upon spacing apart the flexible sheets from one another to allow the passage of a fluid between the inside and the outside of the enclosure. The sheets are arranged to be applied against one another upon ceasing of the application thereto of a force tending to hold them apart, thus preventing said fluid from leaving the enclosure. The sheets are sealingly connected to one another with each of the non-converging connection lines forming said duct at the opposite edges of the enclosure, the edges of the sheets adjacent to the inlet end of the duct being sealingly connected to the wall of the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 6334711
Abstract: This leaktight container includes four superimposed sheets (1, 2, 3, 4). The sheet (1) includes a precut tab (5) welded (13) to a portion of the sheet (2). A passage (10) is formed between these sheets (2) and (3) and acts as a valve between the inside and the outside of the leaktight container formed between the sheets (1, 4). A cut (9a) in the sheets (2, 3) allows the passage (10) to be placed in communication with the inside of the container formed between the sheets (1, 4). By pulling the tab (5) the wall of the passage (10) formed by the sheet (2) is torn and this passage is placed in communication with the outside.
