Shaft Balancing Means Patents (Class 384/199)
  • Patent number: 10335804
Abstract: A centrifuge (10), in particular a laboratory centrifuge, comprising a rotor (12) for receiving containers with material to be centrifuged, a drive shaft (14) on which the rotor (12) is supported, a motor (18) which drives the rotor (12) via the drive shaft, a bearing unit (30) with damping elements (36) each having a spring axis (36a), and a support element (54) for fixing the motor (18) in the centrifuge via the bearing unit (30), wherein the spring axes (36a) of the damping elements (36) are placed at an acute angle ? to the rotational axis Y of the motor (18). The invention is characterized in that the bearing unit (30) comprises a plurality of struts (34), preferably 3 to 21, which are connected to the damping elements (36), wherein the struts (34) are placed and arranged so that they are concentrically aligned with the respective spring axis.

  • Patent number: 8646350
Abstract: The actuator has a gear unit with a gear housing and a motor unit with a motor housing and an internally located rotor with a drive shaft, and a cylindrical bearing housing on the drive side. The bearing housing protrudes, along with a bearing and the drive shaft ducted therein, into an opening in the gear housing. The motor housing is flange-mounted, along with a drive shaft mounted therein, to the gear housing. The outside of the bearing housing and the inside of the opening in the gear housing have been geometrically mutually harmonized such that clamping points and tension-free places will form between them when the actuator has been assembled. The pretensioning force resulting therefrom produces a permanent frictional engagement between the outer circumference of the bearing and the bearing support or the bearing shell located opposite it. The operating life of an actuator of such type is increased.

  • Patent number: 7368733
Abstract: A rotatable contamination barrier for use with an EUV radiation system is disclosed. The contamination barrier has a blade structure configured to trap contaminant material coming from a radiation source, a bearing structure, coupled to a static frame, configured to rotatably bear the blade structure, and an eccentric mass element displaced relative to a central axis of rotation to balance the blade structure in the bearing structure.

  • Patent number: 4589297
Abstract: An adjusting transmission of a motor vehicle for a motorized seat adjustment with a transmission housing and a worm arranged on a bearing shaft which is supported at the transmission housing in two shaft bearing parts retaining the shaft and inserted into a respective housing aperture on both sides of the worm; at least one of the two shaft bearing parts is thereby tiltably supported within the coordinated housing aperture in at least a plane containing the bearing shaft axis. A self-alignment of the two bearing parts is achieved thereby so that one obtains without large expenditures a transmission operation which is low in friction and freely movable. The bearing part can be constructed as ring with spherical surface which abuts at prism surfaces of the housing aperture as well as of a pressure member.
