Abstract: The present invention provides a light guide plate, a backlight module, and a method for manufacturing the light guide plate. The light guide plate include a light guide plate body, on which at least two layers of dots having a refractive index different from the light guide plate body are distributed. According to the light guide plate of the present invention, the dots are distributed on at least two layers, rather than merely on a single interface as that in the traditional light guide plate. As a result, the dot density in an identical region of the light guide plate will exceed the limit of 100%, and thereby a better light guide effect will be achieved. In addition, according to the method of the present invention, the light guide plate is manufactured based on a 3D printing technology.

Abstract: In an imaging device having a waveguide, a surface of an insulating film covering a seal ring is prevented from getting rough. A pixel region, a peripheral circuit region, and a seal region are defined over a semiconductor substrate. After formation of a pad electrode in the peripheral circuit region and a seal ring in the seal ring region, a TEOS film is so formed as to cover the pad electrode and the seal ring. A pattern of a photoresist for exposing a portion of the TEOS film covering the pad electrode and the seal ring, respectively, is formed and etching treatment is subjected to the exposed TEOS film. Then, after the pattern of the photoresist has been formed, a second waveguide holding hole is formed in the pixel region by performing etching treatment.

Abstract: An optical compound sheet for a backlight module includes a base layer formed of a transparent material, a plurality of structured patterns formed on the base layer at a predetermined interval, a light-condensing layer which includes a surface coating including nano-particles distributed on the surface of the structured patterns at the thickness of 0.01 ?m to 1 ?m, and an anti-scratching layer which is coated under the base layer at the thickness of 0.1 ?m to 3 ?m by using the UV-curable bond containing nano-particles. While improving the anti-scratching performance by using the surface coating and the anti-scratching layer containing the nano-particles, the wet-out and Moire phenomena are greatly reduced by the finely separate coating of the nano-particles, thereby achieving both the light-condensing function and light-diffusing function.
