Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a lighting device capable of properly performing a bounce motion and photography in the event of an unexpected motion. The lighting device of the present invention is a lighting device including a control unit that provides an instruction of an auto-bounce motion. When detecting an auto-bounce motion in S303, the control unit releases the brake of a motor for driving a light-emitting part and performs auto-bounce control in S304. When detecting that the bounce angle of the light-emitting part in the auto-bounce motion reaches a target position and the motor enters a stop period in S303, the control unit automatically switches to the application of an intermittently repeated regenerative brake to the motor. This can suppress a movement of the light-emitting part even in an accidental motion and perform a proper bounce motion with an easy manual operation.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a camera system that illuminates a subject being photographed and its object is to provide the camera system capable of photographing at a shutter speed exceeding a synchronous speed or continuous shooting. An electronic camera according to the present invention controls a xenon tube (81) to emit flash light at a shutter speed lower than the synchronous speed in a single-shot photographing mode, and controls a LED (83a) to emit light at a shutter speed exceeding the synchronous speed so as to continuously emit light while a slit defined by a shutter front curtain and a rear curtain is moving over an effective imaging area of an imaging element. When performing a rear curtain sync photographing or front curtain photographing in a single-shot photographing mode, the xenon tube (81) emits flash light.

Abstract: Mobile equipment includes LEDs supplied with a current to emit red light, green light and blue light, FETs and a booster circuit for controlling the current supplied. The current supplied is controlled to supply all of the LED with a current of a low level to illuminate an object in a shooting mode with light for illumination. Thus in the shooting mode a white spot light illuminates the object, and the object can clearly be confirmed. At the moment of shooting, a current supplied can be increased at a burst to emit white flashlight to illuminate the object. A satisfactory image can thus be obtained. The source of light for illumination can be formed of miniature, light-weight LED, and does not impair in mobility mobile equipment having the source of light incorporated therein.
