Abstract: Toilets and accessories associated with toilets are provided. According to various implementations, an exemplary toilet includes a base configured to be fastened to a floor and a pair of bracket panels, which are connected to the base and extend upward from the floor in a vertical direction. The exemplary toilet also includes a tank housing confined between the pair of bracket panels. The tank housing has an adjustable height above the base such that the tank housing can move in the vertical direction between a raised position and a lowered position. The exemplary toilet also includes a bowl attached to the tank housing, wherein the bowl is configured to support the weight of a user.

Abstract: An ergonomic toilet equipment includes a backrest, a pedal and a balloon pillow. The backrest is disposed on the inner side of the toilet cover, with air bags inflation or suction according to the physiological bending of the user back, providing a healthy and comfortable support. The pedal raises the lower limb according to the user demand, and realizes the physiological structure of bowel movement. The balloon pillow assists the user in creating extra compression in the abdomen to promote bowel movements.

The toilet base at least partially surrounds a lower portion of a toilet bowl and defines an inner area that at least partially contains the lower portion of the toilet bowl. The foot ledge structure comprises a foot ledge and a base bracket. The foot ledge is elevated above the floor and is movable between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the toilet base. The base bracket is positioned within the inner area of the toilet base and is configured to elevate the foot ledge above the floor. The foot ledge is movably attached to the base bracket. The base bracket is independently attachable to the floor from the toilet base.

The handle may have a resilient grip. The support bar may also include stabilizers for maintaining the support bar in a rigid and fixed position so that the user is assured to find the necessary support.

A toilet seat assembly attaches to the metal frame, and a first leg assembly and a second leg assembly each attach to the frame using a piano hinge that rotates the leg assembly 90° inward from an extended position. The second leg assembly attaches to an extension so that it rotates to fit flush against the first leg assembly when rotated inward 90°.

Abstract: A transfer seat to be used in conjunction with a toilet improves access to sanitary facilities by the disabled. The transfer seat may be used as one element of a modular system for improving bathroom fixtures designed for use by the handicapped. This modular system includes a transfer seat to be used in conjunction with a toilet; a hand rail assembly designed for use with the transfer seat; and a shower distribution system designed for use with the hand rail assembly. Thus, the user only needs to push the push knob to unlock and fold the rail so that the rail can be unlocked and folded easily and quickly.

Abstract: The therapeutic footrest for use while on the toilet is used to stimulate the evacuation reflex and to elevate the user in a position so he can squat while on a Western-style toilet. The footrest has two foot members for the user use to massage his feet and that the user can stand on while he is squatting over the toilet. The foot members are placed at opposing ends of two horizontal support bars. While the user is sitting on the toilet, he can move his feet back and forth over massage bumps on the foot members, while the foot members pivot on the footrest. When he is ready to squat, the foot members can be locked into place with locking clips so that the user can squat over the toilet.

Abstract: Toilet armrest support system comprises a removable armrest platform having a centrally disposed opening that conforms to the opening over an existing toilet bowl rim. The removable armrest platform supports detachable armrests configured to provide a wider area under the armrests for larger individuals requiring more space. The relatively thin and rigid platform slides underneath an existing toilet seat and engages a docking sub-system fastened to existing hinge openings with toilet seat fasteners on the rear of the toilet. The docking sub-system is of unitary construction comprising docking bar, docking ports at each end of the docking bar, and an anchor block between the docking ports. The removable platform easily slides into the docking ports and under the elevated anchor block. A locking mechanism on the anchor block locks the removable platform securely in place which can then be removed just as easily and quickly.

Further, a releaseable latch fastens the outer edges of the elements to form a box like structure.

A skid-resistance bottom surface may be provided on either the first planar body or the second planar body for securing the raised platform to an underlying surface to prevent movement.

Abstract: An apparatus for discharging bodily wastes has a receptacle for holding a person's bodily waste products, including an upwardly facing opening for receiving the waste products. A forward load-bearing member extends from the receptacle to provide a support for at least one foot of a person discharging waste products into the receptacle. A rear load-bearing member arranged to engage the lower torso of the person above the buttocks when the person has at least one foot in the forward load-bearing member. The rear load-bearing member and the forward load bearing member are spaced apart a distance that is sufficient to hold a person therebetween with the person's buttocks suspended over the opening of the receptacle and the person's center of gravity behind the one foot supported in the forward load bearing member.
