The system includes a sterilizer positioned within a vehicle and configured to eliminate a virus within the vehicle while operating, a detection sensor that detects whether or not an occupant is present within the vehicle, and a sterilization controller that controls operation of the sterilizer with a preset operation profile on the basis of a result of the detection sensor detecting whether or not the occupant is present within the vehicle.

Abstract: The disclosed technology includes systems and methods for operating a pool water heating system. The pool water heating system can include a heat pump, a supplemental heat source, a water temperature sensor, and a controller. The controller can be configured to receive water temperature data and, in response to determining that the temperature of the water is less than a threshold temperature, output a control signal to activate the heat pump. The controller can further determine an expected heating time that can be indicative of an amount of time required for the temperature of the water to be greater than or equal to the threshold temperature. The controller can also generate a heating schedule based at least in part on the expected heat time and a predetermined time of use. The heating schedule can be indicative of a heat pump operation time and a supplemental heat source operation time.

Abstract: A Exercise Pool is disclosed herein having a rigid frame modular in design to allow for improved delivery and assembling. As shown the system may be configured with a box like structure providing containment of the flow head and may be configured with a removable deck having an air gap built in. As disclosed the treadmill swimming pool system as its general configuration is safer for users as it inhibits and/or eliminates hair and body entrapment. As disclosed it has a balanced flow which better replicates or reproduces actual swimming conditions for an enhanced user experience. The propulsion system may be controlled with a variable frequency drive (VFD) to allow for improved swimming conditions and control of same.

The manifold may have a top portion connected to a main suction line and a main pump line. The top portion may have a cylindrical wall in the center, such that the top portion is divided into a central opening (in fluid communication with the main pump line) and an outer ring portion (in fluid communication with the main suction line). The manifold may also have a cover with a central opening and a plurality of holes formed therein. A spa removable seat back containing jets may fit at its base into the central opening of the cover in fluid connection with the main pump line and allowing the outer ring portion and cover to be exposed for water intake.

The fluid injection system comprises a conduit, a heat source, an air supply source, and a fluid injector. The conduit has an opening. The air supply source is fluidly coupled to the conduit, and is configured to provide a flow of air to the central opening. The fluid injector is configured to provide water to the flow of air to produce a combined flow of air and water. Abstract: A reconfigurable water distribution system for a walk-in tub bathing installation including two or more types of discharge ports for discharging water. The system includes a single motorized pump having an input connected to a suction port of the bathing installation, and an output port delivering pressurized water. A pipe system selectively connects the pump to the two or more types of discharge ports to selectively direct the pressurized water to the different ones of the types of discharge ports. The system selectively enables the bathing installation to perform a plurality of different functions using a single pump.

Abstract: This device when adapted to an ordinary bath tub, converts the tub into a system that prevents spilled water resulting from the process of taking a bath, from spilling onto the bathroom floor. This device captures the water that ordinarily would have fallen on the floor and redirects it to a reservoir tank, for holding. This tank or water holding device, stores the water until it is quickly and easily disposed by dumping it back into the tub's drainage system. There is no other system that has the ability to keep the bathroom floor completely dry when either taking a shower or a bath. With a series of shield, water trough and hoses, the water that ordinarily would have become a safety hazard on the floor, is quickly channeled off to a drain line, there to a reservoir tank from which the water would be disposed. The device is attractive, non-intrusive and light weight. It is also detachable after installation and is completely portable and transferrable.

Abstract: A water tempering system comprising a mixing tank located downstream from the main hot water storage tank, the mixing tank receiving a supply of hot water at a first temperature and a supply of cold water, the hot water and cold water supplies mixing within the mixing tank to provide a source of tempered hot water at a reduced, second temperature that is discharged from the mixing tank for distribution and use within an overall system. The amount of cold water directed to the mixing tank is controlled by a variable frequency drive pump which can adjust depending on system demands to ensure that sufficient cold water is directed to the mixing tank to ensure adequate mixing occurs to bring the temperature of the hot water to the second reduced temperature even during periods of low demand.

An air convecting conduit is in communication with a plurality of injecting orifices formed in a peripheral wall of the bath. An air blower injects air under pressure in an entry opening of the air convecting conduit. A water spray injector is located downstream of the entry opening and upstream of the air injecting orifices to inject a spray of a predetermined volume of water in the injected air under pressure. A water supply conduit is connected to the water spray injector and has a flow regulating valve to regulate the volume of water spray injected in the heated air to saturate the air with water. A shut-off valve is provided in the water supply conduit, and a heater is disposed in the air convecting conduit downstream of the water spray injector and upstream of the air injecting orifices wherein heated, humidified air injected in the water contained within the bathtub does not produce a cool sensation on the body of a user person.

The air is heated by a solid state thermoelectric device or a conventional space heater and is cooled using a solid state thermoelectric device. Preferably a single thermoelectric device is mounted through a wall in the spa cabinet and is used for both heating and cooling the air in the air space.

Abstract: The present invention involves a type of small-sized pool and PTC heater for liquid heating. The PTC heating component of PTC heater is composed of several heating cores made of PTC ceramic material, completely eliminating fire risk. Meanwhile, PTC heating component external is equipped with at least one layer of insulation and sealing component, which further includes several insulation layers and at least one sealing layer outside the insulation layer, effectively eliminating electricity leakage risk. Two layers of above mentioned insulation and sealing component could meet the insulation requirements specified in IEC standard and UL standard, so it could be used for applications with large power. In addition, the PTC heater has good water route sealing ability, so it could be used for liquid heating in small size pool. Abstract: A combination bathtub and spa includes a tub enclosure that is adapted to contain a quantity of water, a drain having a drain valve that may be opened to drain water from the tub enclosure or closed to retain water therein, a supply system for supplying water to the tub enclosure, and a lid that is adapted to removably cover the tub enclosure. The combination bathtub and spa also includes a pump having an inlet and an outlet, a suction line that provides a path for water from the tub enclosure to the inlet of the pump, a jet nozzle that is located in the sidewall of the tub enclosure, and a jet nozzle supply line that provides a path for water from the outlet of the pump to the jet nozzle. A filter is provided to filter the water that flows into the tub enclosure, as well as a heater for heating the water that flows into the tub enclosure. A control valve is adapted to open to allow water to flow through the filter or to close to stop the flow of water through the filter.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a massage apparatus with a music player for use in the bathroom. More particularly, the present invention relates to a massage apparatus for use in the bathroom which is equipped with a massager that sprays water through a plurality of nozzles to provide a massage effect, said massage apparatus comprising: a bathtub with the massager installed in the lower portion thereof, having a bottom surface tilted upwards; a transfer pipe, one end of which is arranged vertically to the bottom surface of the bathtub and the other end of which is bent toward the ears of a user; a music box having an interior into which the transfer pipe is inserted, and in which a music player is embedded, and a lower portion with an outlet hole; and a drain pipe, one end of which communicates with the outlet hole and the other end of which is connected to a drain.

Abstract: A vessel for containing liquid includes a floor perimetrically surrounded by a plurality of upwardly projecting walls; at least one exit port incorporated into at least one of the walls proximate to an upper edge of the at least one wall; and a liquid circulation pump apparatus. The liquid circulation pump apparatus includes a first conduit in fluid communication with the vessel; a circulation pump positioned downstream from and in fluid communication with the first conduit; a supply conduit positioned downstream from and in fluid communication with the circulation pump; and a diverter valve positioned downstream of the circulation pump and upstream of the supply conduit. The circulation pump is adapted to pump liquid from the vessel through the first conduit and deliver liquid through the supply conduit to the exit port. The diverter valve is adapted to change a rate of flow of liquid supplied to the exit port.

Abstract: A bathing product for bathing comprises: a sodium hydrogen carbonate, commonly known as baking soda, being usable for softening the bathing water, removing body odor, revitalizing skin and facilitating enhanced body care or treatment, and a water sanitizing agent, being usable for effectively sanitizing the liquid and cleaning the bath apparatus without causing toxic effect to a bather for bathing in the liquid. The sodium hydrogen carbonate mixture may comprise 50-99% by weight sodium of hydrogen carbonate formed in powder form, and the water sanitizing agent may comprise about 1-10% by weight of trichloroisocyanuric acid. The bathing product may further comprise a bubbling agent to create a bubbling action for pleasure and soothing sensation for the bather.

Abstract: An embodiment of a spa control system includes a heater, a pump for circulating water through the pump, one or more sensors for monitoring temperature, and an electronic controller coupled to the heater, pump and sensor(s) for controlling the heater and pump based on the rate of change in temperature at the sensor(s). A method of controlling a heater in a spa with a spa control system is also disclosed.
