Abstract: An infant bather having a top housing and a bottom housing detachably secured to the top housing. The top housing has a cradle with a first surface and a second surface and defines at least one aperture allowing a fluid to flow between the first surface of the cradle and the second surface of the cradle through the at least one aperture. The bottom housing has a basin with an interior surface and exterior surface. The second surface of the cradle coincides with the interior surface of the basin such that the fluid held within the basin submerges a portion of both the first and second surfaces of the cradle.

Abstract: A two person portable apparatus (10) for reducing the core temperature of one or more human beings includes a trough (14) made of a waterproof, flexible fabric (56) and a generally rectangular frame (12). Portions (68, 70, 72, 74) of the fabric (56) are looped over sides (24, 26, 28, 30) of the frame (12) so that the trough is supported by and suspended from the frame. The apparatus includes four legs (16, 18, 20, 22) hinged to corners of the frame and pivotable inwardly under the trough. Cooling water is placed in the trough and the hands and forearms of human beings are immersed in the cooling water.

Abstract: A portable changing table comprises a flexible hanging support having upper and lower ends, a chamber adapted to receive and hold a child during diapering, and left and right support straps. The upper end of the hanging support has at least one hook for hanging the changing table during use. The hanging support is adapted to hang substantially vertically during use. The chamber is attached to the lower end of the hanging support such that the chamber hangs from the hanging support during use. The chamber comprises a floor, a rear wall having a bottom edge foldably attached to a rear edge of the floor, a front wall having a bottom edge foldably attached to a front edge of the floor, a flexible left side wall, and a flexible right side wall.

Abstract: The present invention provides a child bath that can be used either as a stand alone bath or as a conversion unit for conventional bathtubs. The child bath includes a vertical front panel and a horizontal top panel with a wash basin that holds a smaller volume of water than a convention bathtub. A support frame provides structural support to the horizontal and front panels. In one embodiment of the invention, the support frame fits within a conventional bathtub and holds the horizontal panel across the top of the bathtub, while holding the front panel in front of at least a portion of the side of the bathtub. In another embodiment of the invention the support frame holds the horizontal panel higher than the height of a conventional bathtub, thereby allowing an adult to stand next to the tub while bathing a child.

Abstract: A rigid foldable portable diaper changing pad provided with a plurality of support panels. At least one of the support panels is provided with a section overlaying an adjacent panel to provide stability and prevent the panels from being rotated more than 180°. An additional panel provided at a right angle from the plane of the aforementioned panels would be utilized to support the changing pad on a faucet spigot. This panel would also be utilized to prevent scalding of an infant, if the water were to be turned on accidently.

Abstract: An infant's nursing table includes a stand which can be placed on a bath tub and which carries a table leaf arrangement. The stand has two pairs of legs which extend down on two mutually opposite sides of the table leaf arrangement and which are connected in pairs beneath the table leaf arrangement by means of two cross members. The cross members are intended to rest against two opposite bath edges and can be adjusted with respect to their lengths. The downwardly extending stand legs can be connected to respective cross members at different locations along their lengths. The legs are clamped firmly against respective cross members. Each leg is provided with a multiple of indents which are spaced along the length of the leg and which are configured to receive partially a cross member pressed laterally against said leg.

Abstract: A bath support or bench includes a wall cabinet for mounting on the wall of a bathroom adjacent a tub or shower and includes a wall panel or bracket, a support bench pivotally mounted to the bracket and foldable upward against the bracket, and foldable downward into support position in the bathing area, and a cover hinged to the wall panel for covering the support bench when folded upward to the out-of-the way position.
