Patent number: 11778985Abstract: A foldable container includes a foldable supporting frame, at least one operation switch arranged on the foldable supporting frame, and a container body supported on the foldable supporting frame. The operation switch is actuated through a pulling operation to move the foldable supporting frame between an unfolded mode and a folded mode. The container has an edge and an opening formed within the edge. At the unfolded mode, the opening is opened. At the folded mode, the opening is closed. The container body is automatically folded as the foldable supporting frame is moved from the unfolded mode to the folded mode. Via a folding method, the foldable supporting frame is folded to reduce an overall size for occupying less storage space when it is not in use.Type: GrantFiled: December 28, 2022Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: TAN GROW INC.Inventor: Mengmeng Mu

Publication number: 20140201901Abstract: An infant bath having a sling infant support that holds the infant while bathing, yet retracts to a convenient and safe storage position when not in use is provided. The assembly includes an elongate infant bath basin having upwardly extended side walls for containing water in which to bathe an infant, a sling extends across the basin and is supported by at least two of the side walls when in the extended position. The sling is configured and arranged to be detached from one of the sidewalls and retract into a retraction mechanism at the opposing side wall such that the sling is stored in the retraction mechanism when not in use. In an alternate embodiment, a retrofit sling support assembly is provided for use in baths not fitted with a sling or for standalone use. The retractable sling is supported by a portable foldable frame.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 24, 2013Publication date: July 24, 2014Applicant: BABY'S JOURNEYInventor: Steve Gibree

Publication number: 20120278988Abstract: A bilaterally collapsible bathing receptacle, comprising a contiguous expanse of a resilient material having a first concavely curved surface and an opposing convexly curved surface, and a hinge extending from a first end to an opposing second end of the expanse. The hinge generally bisects the expanse and defines opposing bilateral halves thereof. The expanse is configured to assume an open, bowl-like configuration in a relaxed state, and when inwardly compressed laterally, flexes along the hinge and places the respective first surfaces of the opposing bilateral halves into confrontation with one another.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 13, 2012Publication date: November 8, 2012Inventors: Benjamin Todd Richardson, Kathryn A. Patent number: 8302218Abstract: The present invention relates to a tub for bathing infants or children. The tub includes a receptacle for containing water and for receiving an infant. The tub also includes a selectively removable insert or positioning member that can be used to change the bathing area inside of the tub. When the positioning member is locked to the tub, the positioning member defines two separate infant seating positions within the tub. The positioning member is removable from the tub to allow the entire receptacle to be used.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2008Date of Patent: November 6, 2012Assignee: Mattel, Inc.Inventors: Daniel Dignitti, John L. Patent number: 6112343Abstract: An infant bathtub having a tub of unitary construction, a foam pad attached thereto, a sling selectively and removably attachable to a lip of the tub, and a hook selectively and removably attachable to a bottom surface of the tub. The hook includes shoulders and a notch formed thereon that mate with channels and resilient tabs formed on the bottom surface of the tub. The receptacle is located on the bottom surface of the tub in the position relative to the center of mass so that when the hook is installed therein, the infant bathtub will hang from a shower curtain rod in a substantially vertical orientation. The sling can be removably attached to the infant bathtub along a lip formed on the tub and the clips can be positioned relative to various ribs formed at the head end and foot end of the tub.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 1998Date of Patent: September 5, 2000Assignee: Evenflo Company, Inc.Inventor: Fredrick P. Patent number: 5963993Abstract: An article for supporting an infant during bathing includes a body portion having a top surface that is constructed and shaped to support an infant, and a bottom surface. The body portion is made out of a material that is compressible and water-absorbent material, such as a sponge-like polymeric foam. A passage is defined in the body portion for permitting bath water to flow unimpeded through the body portion from beneath the bottom surface to above the top surface when the article is placed bottom surface down into bath water. As a result, bath water will be absorbed into the body portion, and particularly into the top surface, more quickly than was heretofore possible with conventional bath supports. A second aspect involves a torso-receiving portion of the body portion, which is made to be more compressible than other regions so as to ensure that an infant's torso is as immersed as possible during bathing.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 1998Date of Patent: October 12, 1999Inventor: Steven B. Patent number: 5735000Abstract: An infant bathing apparatus including a cushioned body having a cavity surrounded on all sides except one by the body. The sides and bottom of the cushioned body are formed from a water permeable outer layer joined to a water permeable inner layer having a hydrophobic material disposed therebetween.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 1996Date of Patent: April 7, 1998Inventor: Patricia Pfaeffle

Patent number: 4974267Abstract: A baby bathtub is provided with a housing having therein a supporting frame assembly controlled by a control rod assembly through an extension handle to move upward or downward along four dovetail-like vertical projections on the inner wall thereof so as to adjust the level position of a mattress which is mounted on the supporting frame assembly for the lying thereon of a baby. Drain pipe is attached to the housing and controlled by a drain control device.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 1990Date of Patent: December 4, 1990Inventor: Miin-Shiou Sheu

Patent number: 4932086Abstract: An infant's nursing table includes a stand which can be placed on a bath tub and which carries a table leaf arrangement. The stand has two pairs of legs which extend down on two mutually opposite sides of the table leaf arrangement and which are connected in pairs beneath the table leaf arrangement by means of two cross members. The cross members are intended to rest against two opposite bath edges and can be adjusted with respect to their lengths. The downwardly extending stand legs can be connected to respective cross members at different locations along their lengths. The legs are clamped firmly against respective cross members. Each leg is provided with a multiple of indents which are spaced along the length of the leg and which are configured to receive partially a cross member pressed laterally against said leg.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 1989Date of Patent: June 12, 1990Assignee: Baby Bjorn ABInventor: Hakan Bergkvist

Patent number: 4838967Abstract: This invention is concerned with inflatable plastic baby baths similar in shape to a rubber tire inner tube having an impervious web across the ring. The web is preferably midway between the top and the bottom of the inflatable tube or annulus, and by inflating the article while hot during manufacture a smooth and wrinkle-free appearance can be produced. Such a plastic bath can be made virtually immovable on a smooth surface by expelling air from under the web and causing a partial vacuum. The diameter of the inflated tube is sufficiently great relative to the width of the web to prevent the web touching the supporting surface in normal use.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 1977Date of Patent: June 13, 1989Inventors: Vern L.
